We had the idea of having a high king-size bed frame made in a rustic style. We took a sketch of our design to Jono and within a few days he had come back to us with professional drawings and a quote. The job was was finished within the promised time and Jono delivered it and helped assemble it. He was engaged, friendly and a pleasure to work with. The finished product is lovely and true to our concept. Jono's work is highly recommended.

I'd recommend 2EIGHT3 to anyone who's after recycled timber gorgeousness.
I had a plan for my home office space, and searched forever on the web to find ready-made furniture to fit. There was nothing. Then I saw pictures of Jono's beautiful work and it was just the style I was after.
I felt a bit nervous taking a chance on a small operator, but I was NOT disappointed. Jono listened, understood, asked plenty of questions and came up with drawings that looked like they came directly from my brain. His quote was within my budget, his communication skills were amazing and he delivered the finished workbench, bookshelves, cupboards and drawers a whole week ahead of schedule.
Seriously, stop wondering and give him a call.

We are absolutely in love with the four poster bed Jono made for us! After months of researching the perfect bed, we finally found one we both loved, but it was only sold overseas, and had sold out. We liked the idea of using recycled timber and supporting local business, so we did some more research and found 2 eight 3. Using some images we had he was able to send us designs of the bed using recycled timber and used some creative skill to keep the price down without sacrificing quality. Jono is a skilled and talented carpenter and has a excellent problem solving brain to boot. We couldn't be any happier with the final product, thank you so, so much!

For every one else enjoy the journey with Jono his manner , skills and ideas are top notch.The back and forth with design , colours and finish is a great experience in bespoke furniture manufacture. I love the two pieces Jono has made for us the multi purpose vanity was a test the water job and Jono did not disappoint .So the decision to entrust him with the task of creating our 3D entertainment unit ,which is on constant display to all visitors was easy . I feel very warm inside about using the recycled timber that has had a former glorious life and has been retired with only an outlook of becoming firewood . Jono uses all his skills to massage those poor old timbers back to a new and different life . There is something good about being sustainable and supporting a local family oh and having a piece of furniture that actually started as an idea in your own head and now sits in front of you. Thank you Jono for exceeding my expectations and everyone else I hope you get to experience the same journey.

I found Jono's website after a frantic Google search for a company that would be able to make some custom made furniture for our newest garden at Pine Needles Village Erina. We certainly struck gold the day I made that call and asked Jono to come to our village to discuss what we were looking for. From the outset Jono was excited to create our vision for recycled tables and benches for our BBQ area and a very special memorial custom bench in honour of our late father who was the founder of Pine Needles Village.
