Friendly staff but I won't ask the bike mechanic to bleed my brakes again. Brakes were very spongy. When I told them about this, they made it worse when they tried an adhoc lever only bleed. The mechanic blamed my brake pads were contaminated, they definitely were, especially after their work (See attached photo). With Brakes being such a critical component, it'd be reasonable to expect a bike mechanic to have the required knowledge and skills to do a successful bleed. Attached photo shows the state of the mineral oil after a proper brake bleed completed by myself the same day I collected my bike from 99 Bikes Ipswich.

Thank you for your professional touch. After I had a spill on my e-bike (my bad), you serviced it back to good health including ordering and attaching a new display unit after I shattered my previous unit (poor bike). Great team; you were professional and efficient.

I am impressed with the way we were treated. I took my grandson to see about improvements to his downhill bike and rather than trying to sell us upgrades offered him some practical advice. Makes me feel like making this shop the first choice when I want to purchase a new bike.

Bought a 2nd hand giant dual suspension bike, and took it in to see Samuel (bike mechanic) who listened to what I was concerned about, and offered a suitable service. He thoroughly checked everything, gave it a really good clean, and it rides so well. He also gave friendly advice on maintenance of the discs brakes, and lubrication of the chain to give maximum life and enjoyment. He also offered to do some minor adjustments when the bike is ridden in and the new cables have stretched a bit - awesome dude, and so friendly and approachable.
For a long time I have supported 99 bikes in Ipswich, for parts, new bikes for the kids, services etc, as they have consistently been very helpful, friendly, and keep the customers $$ in mind.

Rob (Robert) was so amazing. He was so patient and knowledgeable with us. Rob found us the perfect bike for both my husband and I. We must have been there for the best part of 2hrs and ended up with his hers bikes, safety gear and tailgate protection, we could recommend Rob and 99Bikes Ipswich highly enough.
