We used Bonnys Beach Cafe to cater for our wedding reception in May 24. From our first contact with Marty we were treated well. We were able to relax and let the Bonny Team look after us.
The layout of the club reception area was exceptional! Rin got our vibe: the room was decorated with flowers, candles fairy lights and cushions giving a casual beach boho feel. Especially loved the views of Rainbow Beach as the sun set. Thank you Rin!
The food! Roseanne excelled with the catering - everyone commented on how delicious and healthy it was- high quality a la carte style, filling, plenty of it and nobody went hungry! Thank you Roseanne and your lovely team.
Thank you also to Peter and Michelle who ran the bar cheerfully and efficiently. The tab lasted till late in the evening and nobody went thirsty! A great variety of beverages- good quality wine and beer, plus plenty of soft drinks for the kiddies. Thanks to Bonny Hills Cafe and Surf Cub we had a fantastic wedding: our friends and family are still talking about the experience. Highly recommend the location, venue management and catering for Your Big Day!!

Happy little accident it was to find this place and well worth a drive in off the highway if you are heading south of Port Macquarie.
Situated right on the beach front is this lovely little cafe with spectacular views.
This place comes highly recommended.
Fresh food, great service... and did I mention the spectacular views? I did? Well.... they are worth the 10 minute drive off the highway to enjoy.
Glad I made the effort.
House made fish cakes and salad... and an apple crumble muffin to finish off with. Amazing.

Not sure we could eat there with our dog but they said yes , outside. They recommend the mini seafood plate witch was a large serve for one but could be enough for us and they would make us some garlic bread,( which was not on the menu) as a starter. It was perfect.

Awesome location, very friendly owner, perfect spot to chill out, have a few drinks and a meal. I had the beef burger. Again, awesome. Lol, had to laugh after reading a 1 star review because the burger supposedly fell apart once the skewer was removed. Seriously Luckily I have fingers and thumbs that pick up things and hold them together. In short, I'll be certainly returning for another burger. Anyways, thanks for providing the means for my wife and I to have a great evening watching the whales in the distance.

Great view, great service, great food! Ordered the surf n turf (10/10) with brownie and icecream for dessert (10/10).

Spectacular views if you could grab a seat on the back side balcony but we had to sit at front due to our pet friend. Coffee and food tasted great.

Disappointing for all. The bagel tasted to have aoil on it (not advertised on the menu and not nice at all), the $4 extra for tomatoes was about half a small tomato and the acai bowl had 2 solid frozen lumps of berry paste that didn't defrost before we left and couldn't be eaten.

RESPONSE FOR BONNY: so you may not be aware of this but the date we visited was the 23rd Jan where the temp was about 20degrees and cloudy. I know this as my family rode camels before we arrived and it was cloudy and overcast and very not hot. I've also attached a photo of the bowl for you where you can see the sorbet is very much frozen, has only melted where it touched the hot banana, and will still very much frozen (except for the bit she deigned to carve off with a spoon) when we left. Not exaggerated ;o)
