I had terrible customer experience unlike other reviews.

Came in to buy a Makita Radio for a birthday present, while I was there I decided to look at a makita rotary hammer drill, the lady sales person scoffed and told me "don't you have a drill" then palmed me off to another sales person.

Was happy to buy the drill so asked could they throw in a generic 12mm sds bit, was flat out told no.

Off to Sydney Tools now.

Well priced flooring adhesive sausages, but they don't nozzles, none at the counter and they don't even sell any. After spending over $150 on glue, I was told I had to go to Bunnings to buy them. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

I ordered tools for a job for my dad in the back end of June, in the checkout the website said 3-5 days arrival. A few days after I ordered I was told that the tools would be shipped out in the week of 1 July. About a week later I got another email saying that one of the tools was on backorder and wouldn't receive it for a while. They tool so long to post the first one that I had moved house (about 3 weeks). Someone in one of their stores that I called said they would arrange to re-send that tool and 2 weeks later - still no sign of it. In total it has now been 6 weeks+ since I ordered, dad had to hire the tools he needed for the job which is a wasted cost and I still haven't received the tools. To say I have had a bad experience from this company would be a prenominal understatement.

I only made it as far as the counter, but the staff were friendly, patient, and efficient. The store has since moved to Booval. It is air conditioned and well-lit now. Same staff. New location. It's on the North side of Brisbane Road, but there's no right turn when inbound, so it's best to approach from Ipswich direction or go around the back. Good range in popular brands.
