Should probably be a 4 star review because I didn't get the best communication from them but I knew they had staff on holidays and others away so they still get a 5 from me. Honestly I made a bunch of calls looking to get a roadworthy certificate done. Most flat out said "no, we don't do them because we don't make any money off them" or could fit me in in a few weeks. Suds being a little out of town wasn't at the top of my list. I now wished I had called them first, and will from now on. They fit me in in two days. They were honest and said they needed to investigate an oil leak and would call me to talk about how much it would be to fix. I was pleasantly surprised when they admitted that after cleaning and investigating it wasn't as bad as they had thought and just charged the one hour labour. The mechanic even showed us where they were concerned about and gave advice on monitoring it. So refreshing to have met an honest mechanic. Would definitely recommend

Kym and Clyde were kind and polite, they explained all work required and the costs. They rushed my job through for me so I could travel that day. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a proper job done at a reasonable price! Thank you Suds!

It is wonderful to find a mechanic that is not only an expert in his trade but also will help on a weekend when you are stuck! My family needed immediate trailer repair for us to be able to keep driving south. He also fixed a brake problem on our vehicle that a specialist brake centre in Cairns overlooked.

Klyde opened up for us on a Sunday and shifted other jobs around to be able to get us back on the road again ASAP. His rates are extremely competitive and his workshop is well maintained. They also have just about everything you need for sale at rates competitive to chain store automotive supply centres. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Thank you Klyde and Ashton for all your help.

Fantastic service. Car shocker failed and Suds were able to make room and install new suspension and springs right away on Monday (just dont brake down on the weekend no mechanics are open).
