We are from Adelaide and spent the evening at Strangers Restaurant on Friday 13th!! We are pleased to say the evening was perfect. From the delicious food to the amazing staff. We wanted to mention Amerbell, her knowledge of the building from picking us up in the foyer to delivery to the dining room was very informative, she was very proud of the building and its heritage. Her silver service hospitality was 2nd to non. Secondly a big thankyou to Erin for showing us around at the end of the evening. I think she could tell how much we enjoyed the building and all of its heritage and stories. Can't recommend this experience enough. Perfect way to spend our 27th Wedding Anniversary.

The event was a vibrant celebration of diversity, showcasing the multicultural fabric that makes Queensland so unique. David Crisafulli's presence and engagement with the attendees were commendable. His dedication to fostering multiculturalism was evident, and it was heartening to see a leader so invested in the community's well-being.

The Queensland Parliament building added an extra layer of significance to the event. Walking through its corridors, you can't help but feel the weight of history and the important decisions that have shaped the state. This is such a significant and beautiful part of Brisbane’s history. The heritage, culture and politics that have shaped the city over the decades is evident on every floor, in every room and in the stories on the walls. There is so much to see that you should allow as much time as you can to take it all in. Sign up for the tour, take part in the high tea events as well as the Christmas in July experience.

We came here during an open day, and we were able to explore the inside of the Queensland Parliament House (normally closed to public). It was quite interesting going through the different rooms and learning bits and pieces here and there, from reading the signage. I think they have guided tours too. It was interesting to see the places that the actual QLD government members do their work/ meetings, and see the old design and architectural features of the buildings. Honestly, it wouldn’t be for everyone and I could see people get very bored very quickly, but otherwise it is a nice trip through history. At the end/ beginning, there is a picture of all the members - it is interesting to see the diversity in the group (there isn’t much lol).

Came to the Queensland Parliment for a Small Business Association event which was amazing and full of great information. The place and staff were great and the high tea set-up and food was also great.

Great location for walks around and beautiful views. I am looking forward to the next event. The security staff were also helpful.
