I stop here regularly on my daily rounds , simply the friendliest people doing their best to serve the community. Great selection of home cooked meals made with love and Sam's pies are as good as any going around. I could eat them every day. It is nice to see genuine customer centric people still do exist in business and these guys excell at it too. Love having a chat and laugh when I'm there always brightens my day. Just off the main road , consider dropping in if your anywhere near Lake Placid.

Finished half of the huge pie and I had only eaten pastry,the filling of a beef and mushroom left a lot to be desired taste wise. Hard to give it a good review when it isn’t consistent. homemade doesn’t always mean good. For the price.

Quite possibly the best pie in Cairns. However it only gets a 4 star as it is very difficult to eat due to it's size and weight (not a bad thing I know)

Absolute Piefection !!!
This monster Home created pie was just the cure for an equally monster Sunday hangover after a crazy biker party...
Rode from other side of city for it and wasn't disappointed....this is a real meaty man's pie that's possibly too much for a Lycra wearing cyclist to handle but highly recommended for all others !

Mate they literally have the best pies in the whole of cairns! So happy when I work weekends cause that means I can stop off on my way past to get a pie.
