!!Dont Buy From This Store!!

Workers regularly pick up dropped product off the ground like sausages & wings and put it back in the display cabinets. Good specials are only put in place when the expiry dates are close and they need it gone, they put one or two actual good specials to cover that up. The owner overbears on his young staff, one time I was in there before they closed buying meat one and of the owners/managers told a young worker no older than 14 to go to the fridge and get a beer for him by tapping the top off his already empty can. So might not want to let your kids work there. Majority of the staff are cool usually, just the owner and a couple others who are just arrogant.

Just doing a fortnightly shop, and am always impressed with the appearance of their fridges.
Someone is always shuffling behind you to straighten it out after you've gone digging for the ultimate cut .

We tried their Christmas ham in store , surprisingly just baked with nothing added, but it was delicious ?

To the friendly staff member who assisted with our enquiries, all be it, one we won't mention ha ha.

We checked out at 10.56am 23/10 .

I mean, it's definitely not vegan friendly, so it's right up my alley ... More protein than you've had hot dinners ! This place has an incredible lineup of options, from the snag on a barbie right through to a whole piglet ? if that's what floats your boat . There is also a great range of precooked smoked protein to choose from if you don't want to do it all at home yourself .

Bought rump, ribs, and skewers... initially looked great. Skewers very nice, rump was good cut but alot of fat. Price does not reflect the 2 inch thick fat trail.
The ribs, meat was off. Smelt too. Ate half of one and was crook. Not impressed with the butcher.

I wanted to get a half dozen trips under my belt before posting a review. Simply put this is a fantastic butcher to buy in bulk from. The quality cannot be beat and the prices lap the supermarkets every day of the week. Personally i have bought T-Bone, Rib Fillet, Lamb Chops, Bacon, Sausages, Chicken Breast , and Mince. I rate them all very highly, with the meats cut fresh to order. I go out of my way to support local businesses especially ones that go the extra mile to ensure we get quality meats at great prices.

Well done Augusta Meats, 5 Star ratings do not come easy from me. Keep up the great work.

Honestly addicted to this place. $5.99 chicken breast $24 amazing steaks and the en place next door is somehow helpful and lovely. Butchers always answer my stupid questions haha and they even cut up my steak the chicken Kiev cabana is to die for so happy guys keep doing whatever you’re doing.

Newly opened in Old Cleveland Road in Capalaba. Very popular due to the variety & quality of the meats on offer. Smoked & cooked meat available saving you a lot of time at home.
They've got it all, from bulk meat packs, to freshly cut chops, to gourmet sausages, I could go on & on. Prices are reasonable and there's plenty of parking.
The staff are well versed in all things meat and will gladly advise & answer any questions you may have.

Super unfortunate-meat has been off a day after purchase on multiple occasions. Myself and 2 close friends have experienced the same thing 2-3 times in a 3 month period. Maybe it’s due to prolonged freezer time? Not sure.
Either way, meat is good and the shops has everything ya need really. Only down side is if you don’t eat it upon purchase good luck eating a day or 2 after. Below par.
