My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our morning at your Texas Longhorn experience from start to finish.
Mick & Lynda and our guide was so informative she was fantastic with all the livestock,
and helpful to all the people in the group.
We enjoyed the morning tea or coffee with butterscotch slice and anzac bikkies that was provided and they had orange juice for the kids as well.
We will recommend this to family and friends to visit Texas Longhorn for them to enjoy the experience as well.

Wow what a great way to spend 3 1/2 hrs! Texas Longhorn Tours is fantastic-starting with Mick with his passion, witty storytelling about how their journey began and Lynda with her morning tea/cookies/slice and easy conversations to Zeta our tour guide who was awesome and funny and even said she has some new one-liner jokes from us. This deserves more than a 5/5 I give it 6/5. Oh by the way the longhorns are so placid and gorgeous and very photogenic?

A tour for all the family. Lynda and Mick make you feel like family on arrival, The morning Smoko is on another level…. (Thanks to Micks Aunty) the tour is full of fabulous facts, fun and frivolity…. Oh and the cattle are absolutely amazing - the passion and dedication from the owners is reflected in the care and attention they show to their cattle. An experience not to miss for young and old.

For my money, this is the best visitor experience in the whole Townsville region. Beautifully curated homestead and garden area for guests to relax and wander with a cute shop, then out on the property (bring lots of water!) for a tour and the land and beasts. Mick and Linda are perfect hosts. The experience is fun and interesting and also manages to maintain an authenticity - this is a working farm - and the whole thing isn’t Disneyfied which is a rare thing at QLD tourist attractions. Great day for kids and elderly too with everyone catered for and enjoying it.

What a great experience. Linda & Mick welcomed us onto their property and showed us all a great day out. From the smoko & introductory video detailing the heritage of the longhorn, to visit the “love shack” and the tour of the property . Their passion of this animal was evident at every stage. The tour of the property provides an insight into the breeding process and showcases their stock. There are plenty of photo opportunities where you can get up close and personal with these great beasts. At every stop Mick gives an overview of the particular longhorns breeding origins and blood lines and has no end of dad jokes to keep things entertaining.
