I was staying at the camp area so strolled over to look at this old lift bridge, still decked out in Christmas light, that don’t work. Shame!
Good view of the river from the bridge and I saw 3 big fish jump, or 1 fish 3 times I guess!
Certainly a muddy brown river.
I was surprised to find out that this bridge opened in 1888 and there were paddle steamers operating on the river. Such good history to find out.
