Just went in to purchase a Sthil garden vacuum. Walked in had a bit of a look around. Went over to the counter to try and get someone to serve me. Two guys behind the counter one behind a computer and the other one having a great old chat with I assume was someone he knew. Another person, possibly the boss asked if he could help. I said what I wanted and he said to the bloke talking could he help me and his reply was I won’t be a minute. I replied can you help me now and he said I won’t be a minute. My reply to this was goodbye, I’ll spend my $500 elsewhere.

UPDATE. Honeycombes responded quickly. They have been to do my job and the mower is as good as new, thankyou Honeycombes for doing the right thing, much appreciated.

All the great reviews for this crowd? Well here's one for you, hot off the presses. I bought a John Deere ride-on from them several years ago. It's been a great piece of kit, I've owned John Deere before. But I live on the Northern Beaches and now I need service/repairs for a broken belt, so I'll get some new blades and an oil change while I'm at it. I'm greeted with a luke-warm telephone reception and the news that it could "take some time" to collect and repair my mower because they've just lost a mechanic. When I asked "what does 'some time' look like", I'm told "awww, a month"? Do you reckon they actually support what they sell? I don't. Typical FNQ approach and I'm not impressed with Honeycombs Sales and Service [not].

Went in today with a new product I purchased a few weeks ago that was not running right. I am not sure of the blokes name but he was extremely helpful and got it sorted right away while I waited. A minor adjustment Some sound advice and I was on my way. Definitely recommend. Top marks for customer service.

Good Sales, good service and excellent delivery service in the Cairns region. I purchased the baby zero turn John Deere mower and I was very pleased with their service and follow up.

When they did make a mistake they fixed it very quickly.

The delivery service set up the mower and gave a comprehensive demo. The service people were patient and understanding when I called with a problem (caused by me) and gave me excellent advice that resolved the issue.

Top marks for great old fashioned style service. I couldn't get a nice even cut after replacing some parts on my old JD zero turn's cutting deck. Called Honeycombes and John offered to drop by my place and have a look at it with me. He turned up and offered some adjustment suggestions and we got it all sorted. I'm really pleased, great even cut now.
