Had 2 different pies and they were beyond disappointing.
1st was the beef cheese and onion. We had 3 acrual pieces of beef in it and 2of those had large layers of gristle and fat attached and made them inedible.
2nd was chunky beef. We had 1 chunk of beef in the pie and 1 strip of gristle with no meat attached.
The judges must have been short of entrants to award any medals to this quality of pie and a total waste of $34.
I will be contacting the shop I purchased them from tomorrow to voice my disgust personally and directly.
25% meat in a chunky meat pie and that is mince and diced does not make a chunky pie and is, imo false advertising.
