Popped into this bakery for coffee and some bakery treats. Walked out with 2 large coffees and 2 individual caramel tarts. $21!
The tarts were served in a paper bag so by the time I had done the 5 min drive home they had stuck to the top of the bag and one of them broke up as I pulled it out. For the price, I would have thought it could be served in a box.
If I had have seen that the tarts were $5 something each, I would not have bought them. I may have missed a displayed price but it wasn’t clearly visible to me.

I don’t mind spending decent money but I expect quality. The coffee tasted like warm milk only and the tarts were nothing special.

Bought 3 cakes (passion fruit, orange and poppy and Oreo chocolate cake) to celebrate with my work colleagues. They were amazing and everybody said how fresh, moist and delicious they were.
Highly recommend this gem of a bakery.

A big shout out to Gumdale Bakery. We needed a big cake made and decorated for a special occasion and they did an amazing job. The communication was great between the Owners & Sharon. A special shout out to Sharon who is the cake decorator she went out of her way and over & beyond. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you ?

Best salad rolls in Brisbane! Always fresh and delicious. The pies and sausage rolls are amazing as well, and don’t get me started on the pork and gravy rolls, they are mouthwatering. I have a friend in Ipswich who insists I get a salad roll and pie from Gumdale Bakery before I go and visit. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Best bakery in Brissie!

Late last year I discovered Gumdale Bakery due to a FB group that suggested their vanilla slice was awesome (it is!)
We have been trialing different foods from this bakery ever since. Today I stopped in early to get lunch for a group of mates coming over. The mince and steak & cheese pies got smashed. The boys all really enjoyed them.
I also got an orange cake & a choc cake which was definitely nudged!
We have not found anything we have not enjoyed. If you are in the area, or driving through, definitely stop & try it

Amazing pies ? I big dog recommend the pepper steak pie. Nice flakey pastry with lovely chunks of steak. You can’t beat it. Staff are always a delight too.

Went in there for a cake for a birthday. Went in specifically for a vanilla sponge cake. They had a couple of cakes in the cabinet to choose from and I just asked for any as long as it’s vanilla sponge. The girl at the front gave me the cake and went home and cut the cake and it was a chocolate cake with flavoured icing. Very disappointed as we couldn’t eat the cake due to chocolate allergy.

Went in on a Sunday around 10pm ordered chunky curry steak vegetables chunky steak 2 mince plain pies and some sausage roll looking thing pies were barely hot I've eaten some pies in my time but it had some horrible taste and couldn't even be offered a bag to put all my items in will never be going back would give 0 if I could
