Everyones going on about how its not as good as it used to be. I wasnt around for whatever that was and find that the staff are great, the meat is good, and they have great value for wuality products. I dont shop at woolies or coles for meat anymore because it tastes bland compared to Pattemores.

As a full-time student & worker, Pattemores pre-made options are great for easy meals. I can just preheat the oven and throw some rissoles, enchiladas, or pastries in for my partner and I when we’ve had a long day.

And the BACON, loving the smokiness. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Pattemores has been my go to butcher for probably 10 years however after learning that it was sold last year and hoping that it would stay the same it unfortunately hasn't. I can't comment on alot of the products because really they've changed hands but one noticable difference is the bacon. Pattemores used to win award's for their bacon, I lived 40 minutes away and would still go here to get bacon but that time has now come to an end. I purchased some and looked at the back of the packaging "Pendle Ham & Bacon Curers" and thought I would give benefit of the doubt. As soon as the package was opened there wasn't that noticable smokiness smell you always smell when you open the bacon products. Again thought I would still give it a go but it's not the same. I know when business' trade hands things will change but this is disappointing. I probably won't be returning here anymore and will find another butcher. The prices are still good but at the end of the day the in home smoking was a big factor of purchase that is no longer there.

Without a doubt, the absolute WORST excuse for meat I have ever tasted, and I've done military survival training. $17 a kilo and loaded with carrot so that is all you taste. No consistency resembling meat of any kind. Dense as a brake-pad on a car. Disgusting.

I bought a rolled pork roast for Xmas day and it was the worst roast I have ever had. I'm so extremely disappointed as Pattemores boasts of their high quality goods. NEVER EVER again. Alexandra Hills Pattemores is totally off my butchers list and I'll be telling all my friends. After all when you pay $70 for meat you expect quality.

I've been an avid Pattemores customer for years. But I went in yesterday and it looked like they were closing down! Shop is half empty. Same great service but far less choice. Very sad! New management apparently - lets hope they look at it from the customer's perspective soon. No one wants waste but no one wants to buy what looks like the last dregs either.

Found this butcher about March 22 and it was great, but recently after being sold it's nowhere near as good, used to have lots of flavoured snags, no so much anymore, quality of other items has fallen and the place looks like it's closing down and unfortunately the service has gone from fantastic to bloody ordinary. I really hope it picks up. A great shame
