Amazing experience at this beautiful restaurant. Booked for a birthday dinner for 8. The setting was absolutely beautiful. The waitress offered to take a photo of us at a beautiful spot outside under the fairy lights. Meals were massive and very tasty. They were also very accommodating and made us a cocktail that was off the menu.

Incredible food, friendly service and a well decorated venue. The location allows for indoor dining or looking over the fantastic gardens. The menu isn't extensive but this is a good thing as what they do they do very well and they do well to accommodate celiac customers. Well priced to boot, can recommend.

Honestly can't give this place enough stars! I stay at the lodge every time I'm up on the tablelands, regardless of where I need to be up there. Pickle and smoke honestly has the best service and food and the atmosphere is to die for. 11/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a disappointment, no stars for the food or service, it is a nice setting but that does not make up for the lack of cooked food and friendly service. We recommended Pickle and Smoke to our daughter for our grandsons birthday. When our daughter booked it was with the understanding there were chicken wings and other dishes she knew her sons would enjoy. The person taking the booking did not inform her it would be Buffet! The experience only got worst, the vegetables were not cook they were actually raw, the brisket, chicken and pork were all tough, uneatable. The definition of a Buffet is people are able to serve themselves. My husband who does not complain, took his plate back and commented that the vegetables were still raw and the meat was uneatable as it was so tough. Our son-in-law, was given a chunk of brisket which had more fat than meat. Consequently no one ate any of the food and our daughter had to resort to buying takeaway for their boys on the way home.

Holy smokes Batman!!! This place should be in a more populous area so more people could enjoy the meat orgasm I just experienced. Small and quaint restaurant in the dairy capital of Queensland with amazing smoked meats and sides.

The staff were really lovely and very accommodating. The meal was really tasty, the venue has a beautiful outlook over well kept lawns, pool and gardens. We even had the fireplace lit at our request that just topped off our quiet intimate dinner. We’ve been living on the Tablelands now for 2 and a half years and only just found this little gem of a dining experience. We’ll certainly be back again!

Had the most amazing time with such welcoming Owners who allowed us to sit around their fire and enjoy a glass of wine despite being closed. We’re just sorry we wouldnt’t stay an extra night to enjoy their food. Would highly recommend ?
