Been using them since open.

They’re a premium price butcher, which I’d be TOTALLY happy to pay for, if it wasn’t for forgotten orders, mistakes, and (in today’s example) overcharging and luster lack of care.

Ordered 1.5kg of mince + 1.5kg lamb liver mince (3kg total).
They make 3kg of each (6kg).

They fix it on the spot by repackaging (“no need to cryovac again as I’ll be cooking tonight”) and this is the repackaging….
Bags COMPLETELY open, not even a simple knot.

Then comes the charge:
Charged TWICE for Beef mince, instead of ONCE for beef mince and ONCE Lamb liver mince (which is 20% cheaper).

I believe in mistakes happen, and since I caught the price mishap right away, I bring ALL OF THIS UP at paying: guy says nothing, stares at me.

He could have refunded the difference, or thrown a bloody steak in the pack, nope, says nothing.

I say “next time hey!” and walkout.

Zero care.

I’m all for supporting local small businesses, but not when it comes at the expense of basic customer service and blatant overcharging.

Do better, team.

Wow! Best Sirloin steak I have eaten in a long long time! Great service fantastic meats My new Butcher, sorry veges but it melts in your mouth! Bought beef sausages fantastic! I highly recommend this wonderful butcher shop

Best Butcher around, definitely worth driving out of your way for a shop! The house smoked bacon will make you despise regular store bought bacon. The shop is filled with passionate chefs turned butchers which reflects in the products but not the price like other butchers who claim that 'the butcher is the chef'. Any one looking for a new butcher or even passing through Redcliffe stop on in and at least try the bacon, the boutique style shop front & amazing ready prepped proteins will make dinner easy and have you hooked!

Simply the best butcher around with old school service! My son said "these are the best cheerios I've ever had"! The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

We got the most beautiful lamb chops for Australia Day, they were so beautiful, tender and fresh! Just like all their other meats! If you're looking for top-notch meat at a great price, King Street Meat Co is the place to go!

Stunning wagyu! Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t cheap, but I put it in the sous vide and then seared it! Stunning! If you want a real treat, go and speak to Nathan.

High quality rump steak, sensational smoked cabana and bacon, beautiful tasty pure pork sausages plus more.

I grew up rural where we grew and killed our meat so from that to buying at the shops is always a huge difference. However the steak I purchased from here is the only steak from anywhere that has taken me back to then (and my boy cooked the steak for the first time so no fancy cooking). Absolutely fantastic.

Also came in for the first time with my son who wanted to cook the family dinner. The butchers were great helped him pick the steak and gave him advice on what makes a good steak. You sold me on the meat but the service is top tier.
