Popular Post Office. Busy place on Saturday mornings. Found a queue that was out the door. 4 people being served and 6 waiting. Opening hours are 9-12 Saturdays. I suggest that if you are looking to have your passport organised, that you arrive early on Saturdays. Weekdays at 8:30AM, for me that is an excellent time to pick up the mail from my PO Box, as well as doing some business.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, despite me being late in the day and ill-prepared! They helped me figure out package dimensions and walked me through the whole process. I appreciated their wonderful customer service.

Passport renewal service was fantastic. Margate was the 4th PO I had been to for the renewal. One would only take the photo, another said the printed application was out by a smidge and refused to print the application to help me, the 3rd don’t do passports even though I thought I saw the website that said differently. Margate also said there was an issue with the double sided printing BUT they offered to print this for me. Renewal is finally lodged. Margate PO is by far the best ever PO as far as being kind and thoughtful and caring. 5 stars isn’t enough!

Ada and the team at Margate Beach Post Office were just AMAZING! - Nothing was too much trouble for Ada who helped me with my new PO Box and to set up my business account with Australia Post! - making sure that i was able to save on my postage/etc. I highly this branch to anyone needing help with postal services! Thanks again guys! - I really appreciated it! 🙂

I really appreciate the care that Janet took to help me send my artwork. I was surprised at the low cost to send a big parcel and to have insurance as well. Good old fashioned service still exists.

We were served originally by an asian gentelman. We researched earlier that auspost delivers for USPS so we walked in double checking that. Asked him if they do deliver for USPS and he straight up said no. He also repeated it and said "we dont deliver for UPS" (Another postal service but not the one we said, we said usps) so he wasnt even listening, or bothering to check. Then said youll have to call them. We cant do this as its an american company and we would need to wake up at 12am to call them. Then another customer told us to give him our name so he can double check its not there and when we went to do so, he was gone. Just left without a word. That was when the nice woman next to him decided to serve us, check our tracking number and found the parcel! He came back and we told him "look, you had it" he then shook his head, scoffing and saying "you never gave me a tracking number" to which we said "you never bothered to ask". He genuinely left our service without a word. We walked away feeling thankful for the womans service but proper angry at the non-chalant service we recieved from the man.

This store has tiny trinkets all over the place like some kind of discount store and then signs all over the place telling people to control their children and to not touch and break things. Guess what, parents and children exist and we would avoid your store if we could but unfortunately our packages get sent there and we are forced to visit. Insane to have a government service leaving all this crap out next to where families are forced to line up, then whinging when things happen.

Had a great experience at Margate Beach Post Office under challenging circumstances with the imminent closure of the main Redcliffe Post Office where I have had a PO Box for many years. Ada was incredibly helpful, efficient and going the extra mile to assist me getting a new PO Box with them. Witnessed a very high standard of customer care & service with the other two staff who were there also. While there I bumped into a friend I had not seen in ages who has been coming to Margate Beach Post Office for years and confirmed the long standing high standard of service is second to none on the Peninsula - he would not go anywhere else due to the large number of services he can access there and the high calibre of the staff
