I had an exceptional experience shopping at Brookside Big W, and it was all thanks to an amazing worker named Joe. His friendly demeanor and outstanding customer service stood out from the moment I entered the store. Joe’s astute knowledge of the store layout and product details was truly impressive.

I was looking for a few specific items and struggling to find them, but Joe guided me with ease. Not only did he know exactly where everything was, but he also provided helpful suggestions that made my shopping experience so much smoother. It's clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the customers.

Joe is a credit to the Brookside Big W team, and I’ll definitely be returning thanks to the stellar service. If you ever need help in-store, he's the go-to person!

BIG W Brookside is one of the best facilitated major shopping outlets located at Brookside Shopping Centre at Mitchelton.

Target was originally located where BIG W is now.

Target is now located where Myre was before they closed some years ago.

This Big W Brookside is one of the best outlets in this part of northern areas of Brisbane.

BIG W staff are more than helpful to assist with anything to help locate what you need to find & purchase.

All ranges of clothing for men,women, & children are in plentiful supply.

It is fantastic to be able to shop at Big W knowing that everything is under the one roof ?

They is a great range of electronic devices, some ranges of furniture, toys, mobile phones & other types of products available at Big W Brookside.

Wheelchair access to Big W is user-friendly, including people who use mobility scooters.

This store outlet is on one level & you can either use the self-serving checkout or line up when purchasing your products.

When shopping at Big W Brookside, the Western area directly underneath this store is the best area for parking.

You can use the internal stairs to gain access up to the store location, or use the lift access which is in the Western area of parking, or use the Travelator which is a short walk from near the food outlets at Brookside Shopping Centre.

All in all, it's a fantastic place to shop, so why not pay a visit to BIG W Brookside next time you are shopping at Brookside Shopping Centre ?

Massive shout out to Callum who works at Big W Brookside! My mother and I purchased the 70” TV and struggled to wheel it out to the car. Callum who was on his break saw us and instantly offered to help. He even put it on the back of the Ute for us and tied it down! So VERY appreciative for the extent he went with his customer service, since no one else offered to help and their is no collection/loading dock there.

My six year old daughter was bouncing a light Bluey ball in the toy section when the middle aged lady stationed at electrical confronted my daughter and told her in no uncertain terms to stop bouncing the ball. My daughter who has development delays bounced the ball once or twice before returning the ball to the rack.

The same lady subsequently confronted me and said “I told your daughter to stop bouncing the ball but she continued”. I told the lady my daughter has development challenges and I am managing the situation. She then stormed off without any explanation.

I was a bit surprised as my daughter has bounced balls in the same store before and Kmart doesn’t have issues kids bouncing balls. I was also very unimpressed with the lady’s tone and attitude.

Store manager needs to have a 1:1 with her.

How does one rate a Big W? It's a department store. It's big and sells lots of cheap stuff. Staff are nice. Have been here many times and bought much stuff.

Everything you need at reasonably cheap prices! Friendly & efficient service provided in a clean & spacious environment! Well presented! Staff ready to help! The potting mix is only $5.00 a bag! I recently bought a Contempo brand vacuum cleaner for $48.00! It's bagless & it has excellent suction! I'm very happy with the purchase! Big W sells affordable quality products. My boyfriend bought a strapless bra for me! I accidentally took the tags off before I tried it on! It was not the right size! I returned it without the tags & I couldn't exchange it! The next day I returned with the tags & exchanged it for the next size up! Thank you Big W! I really hope & pray this store isn't one of the many stores that are closing throughout Queensland!
As you enter the store the security attendant can usually inform you where to locate the items you are looking for! Laybuy is over 10 weeks & for pensioners its 12 weeks! On the push bikes its an extra &16 to have it assembled on Tuesdays only! Pay on the day!

One of the worst customer experience I’ve ever had went to return a product that had even been owned for more 24 hours and the girl behind the counter wouldn’t even help or give a reasonable alternative highly unprofessional

A little frustrating they no longer take calls at the store. It's just a Mon-Friday 1300 phone number. So you cannot check supplies at a specific store or book party services over the phone. I was unable to speak to anyone on the phone so went in only to find out they have no helium.
