Went to the tugun tavern for lunch as a member we were able to get members lunch deal for $14.95 I had the flathead n chips n salad very tasty chips a bit over cooked for my liking ..but nice dressing served with slices of lemon ? my family had the steak chips n salad and all thought delicious
Wasn’t to crowded for midweek n didn’t need to book there is a gaming room n keno if you feel like a punt good selection of drinks great menu n reasonable priced highly recommend tugun tavern ?

We decided to go here for lunch after it was recommended to us by our son.
I joined the legends and got a discount on all our purchases.
The lunch time menu is fixed price @ $16.95 for non members and $14.95 for members.
For that I got a 200gm steak with salad and chips with my choice of pepper sauce.
The steak was beautifully cooked to medium, and the chips were crunchy.
The quantities were just right and we left feeling well fed without feeling overfull.
The drinks were really well priced.
And the staff were friendly and courteous.
It's a pub atmosphere so don't expect expect to overlook the beach etc.
Although the decor is beachy and there is outside seating also.
All in all a very pleasant meal which exceeded our expectations.
We will definitely be back.
BTW the last time I had a similar steak ,in a place famous for steaks, I paid twice as much and it wasn't as well cooked!!
We will definitely be back.

Wow! The staff are super friendly. Portions sizes were big and delicious. Definitely value for money. Went for dinner then returned a few days later for lunch. Get in there for a really good dining experience. Yum!

I came here for dinner as I was out of town with my wife. I was blown away with the quality for a local tavern like this. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and well mannered. The food came hot and there was next to no wait.
The establishment was clean and had great covid plans in place with plenty of signage throughout. They also had some amazing vegetarian options which is always nice.

I would definitely come here again!

Tavern is about 160m from beach. Pokies. Dinning is beach themed and pleasant. Very cosy environment. Street level.

Ordered a medium steak for lunch, it came out well done and tasted like it had been boiled, the gravy was lumpy and tasted old. Not a very nice dining experience.

Very Below average and overly burnt Chicken wings. Ceasar salad was not enough for a main meal and had next ro no dressing and overly dry grilled chicken.
Overall Very very poor experience and don't recommend this venue to anyone.
