Roast chicken well overcooked, wings & drumsticks were like jerky, lucky the chooks are 'season marinated' probably golden cockerel, so breast & thighs edible. Weipa is isolated, the weekly specials are same price as Brisbane or any other city, pay more here for some things, but to be expected in such an isolated place, overall I think it's a good store, does run low on stock at times, but again middle of nowhere, one delivery a week I believe

Never shop here as it should be illegal to charge what they charge as they are a national branded chain. 20 dollars for washing detergent when in a real town or city it's 8 dollars. They just are ripping everyone off because it is a Rio tinto owned town and they just want the miners money.

A large supermarket servicing a remote town and has a great range of products. No empty shelves up here like in Cairns. Prices seem to be about the same as Cairns as well.
