Wow what a cool place. Visited on a Sunday arvo - pretty quiet. My partner had the gin paddle - so good! I had the pink gin with soda - fantastic. Great tasting gins and they have a range of moonshine as well - the lemon one was amazing!!! Love the look of the place too - very chill very cool. Great staff too - the guy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend highly! Sorry had to add a piccie of the moonshine paddle - all fabulous! We ended up buying the Apple Pie and Lemon moonshine and their citrus gin. Awesome afternoon there - was getting quite busy by the time we left.

Wow!! The atmosphere is one of a kind awesome, the lemade simply delicious and the steak sliders the bomb! The staff, while mentioned last, were first rate. Very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Absolutely amazing!

What a cool vibe! Loved everything abt this distillery, where it’s situated, the nod to local cane transport with its name, the awesome shed that houses this boutique distillery.
All the staff were welcoming, the drinks were awesome, the visual attention to everything presented was bang on the money.
It was a treat to meet Doug and hear the story of how they started, thanks for sharing and so glad you and your partner took the plunge.

Setup inside an old timber mill this venue is an amazing blend of local vibes and rustic quirkiness. With plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a drink or two it offers a mix of lounges, tables and chairs, and stools with wine barrels. The gins are top notch, but for me the apple pie moonshine is a sweet and spicy golden nectar.

Came here on a Friday night and the vibes were high! We managed to secure a table even though it was busy, but we never felt it was too crowded.
The bar staff were very friendly and informative. They had live music which really added to the atmosphere and they also had a food truck.
We had a variety of drinks and the Gin Paddle was the highlight!
Would highly recommend coming here for a few drinks - loved it.

Fantastic rustic atmosphere, friendly staff and great drinks. There was a taco food truck with a couple of options. Love this place.
We did a group paint and sip which was awesome.
Id suggest they do better signage on the building somewhere of the venues Name.

Just arrived from uk, son said we had to stop here for a gin cocktail. My advice folks, if you are in Cairns, this is a unique, fascinating and friendly place for a cocktail. Remember it's always 5.00 o'clock somewhere!
