I may not have an account here but it’s the only bank in Proserpine. I walked in, after travelling 44kms from home, with some bagged coins, not much, 4 bags of $2 coins, 1 bag of $1 coins. ($220)
There was nobody else in the bank and she refused to swap me for some notes repeatedly saying, Open an account!!!!
What happened to good old fashioned customer service. Luckily the post office was more than happy to help me out.
This is where we are at in life now where helping someone out no longer exists.

I've used this branch a few of times when travelling through and just wish it was my home branch. It is just so good to walk into a bank which isn't a wall of ATMs with a deserted concierge desk and no-one in sight.
The friendly service that I've always experienced at this branch is unmatched anywhere. To be treated like family by staff you've never met is so refreshing.
On my last visit, Jasmine processed a form for me in just minutes and without prior notice.
In contrast, my home branch in the city told me I'd need to make an appointment for half an hour when somebody was available and they'd get someone to call me back!
Makes me want to move to Proserpine.
And give 7 stars to Jasmine. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's not open on the holidays there closed for a week they should update that other than that though I love there customer service how there always nice to everyone and it just seems like the one of the best Westpac branch to go to all the other branches are similar with kind staff helping and generally awesome Westpac rules
