Haven't been inside a Mitre 10 for years as I usually go to bunnings and don't get me wrong, I love Bunnings but I have time admit it was a much nicer experience and the staff where very friendly & helpful and the store had a much more pleasant feel to it and the prices were surprisingly good! I bought some white coat hangers six in a pack for $2.99! Actually I thought they were $6 so I went back and bought 4 more 🙂

Purchased a Stihl Whipper Snipper just before Xmas got home fired it up and used the 1/2 tank of start up fuel mitre 10 put in the machine to run me through the process then once I used up that fuel I mixed my own 50.1. With in under 2 hrs of use it had seized up. Took it straight back and the guy that looks after the mower section didn't want a bar of it.He told me to take it to recommend repairer. I said mate I bought it here Mitre 10 it's not my responsibility to take it elsewhere, this is a store problem. Again he wanted nothing to do with it. Machine came back from diagnosis of lack of oil in the fuel. The damage was already done with the start up fuel they put in it with no oil. Went through entire process with store manager and he wanted nothing to do with it. Basically said he said she said .I'm out of pocket $700 on a machine recommend by staff. I spend average $500-$600 there per month and will not ever set foot in that store again. Bunnings would of never treated someone like that. Long rant over.

Was running late today I arrived at 654 pm 6min till close time wanted one thing would have been in and out in 2 min. Bollards allready in and roller door shutting the guy closing the door looked at us knowing it was early. Don’t advertise a time if you’re not going to stick to it. And my time is correct double checked.

Great range of products. Well priced and very helpful and friendly staff. Love their hot ssugeband bun stand outside. Have some good choices of toppings, like bacon or Kransky sausages

Purchased a Yard Force Mower bran new in the box. Got it home and assembled and it would NOT go.
We returned took us 45 mins to get there. And all he did was tried to unsellable us another mower.
Would not reimburse for the full tank of fuel or the oil I purchased from them....
NEVER AGAIN Miter 10........

Went to Mitre 10 Beenleigh this morning with the aim to buy two vanity units. Stood in the area for 20 minutes waiting for service. About 5 customer service staff I'm garden area talking. Ended up walking away and buying my units at BDW. Thank goodness BDW have the wow factor, customer care and remarkable service.

Disgusting attitude from the Indian lady at the front desk - she was incapable of doing the simple task of finding out warranty information on a product (which her colleague later completed on my request within seconds through a scan and check in the system). However this alone would not have warranted this one-star review, what was unacceptable was her behaviour in refusal to perform the check: ‘…you can go check in the aisle/other people on the floor, I have customers to serve here and no time for you.’ Being short with time at the moment I did not dwell on this further and left once the purchase was finished, but I do find it necessary to call out the appalling staff behaviour (which seems to be tolerated or even encouraged by management reading other reviews) here to relieve others of having the same bad experience. Clearly they don’t want business from you - time and money are much better spent elsewhere.
