We stayed 3 nights with the capable and welcoming Celine and Peter. What a team to lead this amazing experience. We were blown away by the views and serenity. The tents are good but we were a little hot on our return each day. The aircon and fan sorted that after a while. The shower with spectacular views over the rangelands was impressive. The bed and linen were of a high quality ensuring a dreamy night sleep. I did need to ask for a blanket though as the nights get cool and the doona supplied was too hot. It appeared effortlessly. The non potable water in the bathroom can be a trap when cleaning your teeth but bottled water is supplied. The water did get a bit hot though sitting all day. Peter is an excellent cook and his duck and coq au vin were excellent. He catered without fuss for my dietary requirements. The inclusive bar had a large range which kept all our group happy, especially the champagne drinkers. |It is a wonderful outback experience andw we couldn’t have been better looked after than with Celine and Peter. |If you have mobility issues, ask for a tent closer to the main dining tent. |A great experience.

Feeling very blessed having just returned from a stay at the unique Rangelands Outback Camp.
The setting is remarkable, perched on the edge of a jump up over looking ancient lands, with incredible changing light and birdlife, as well as the incredible night skies.
The tents with attached bathroom peaceful and spacious, we enjoyed very peaceful nights sleeps during our stay.
Our hosts Peter and Céline were warm, knowledgeable, energetic and most helpful as was William who assisted with very good humour with all our transfers. Breakfasts and dinners with accompanying wines were simply delicious.
What a sublime way to enjoy and learn about this region and our dinosaur history which is delivered in world class displays. Rangelands outback Camp and Winton shire can be enormously proud of what they have achieved.
Last but not least we met and shared the long weekend with some special people including John and Philip and made some enduring friends.
A truly wonderful experience, highly recommended.

This glamping is of the highest order and equivalent to the best I have had in Australia and Africa. The tent is large with a very comfortable bed and airconditioning. It is fly and mosquito free. The bathroom may have insects and the shower is open to the outside so there is insect access but there is ample insect spray for this area. The tents are well spaced so that there is no noise and absolute privacy. There is ample power and GPOs.|The central tent for meals is spacious and filled with every known spirits and wines which are included in the venue charge. Champagne is offered every day after touring, on the deck outside the mess tent with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside as Rangelands is located on a large jump-up (mesa). Views of dawn and sunset are just wonderful.|The breakfast and dinner are prepared by Peter, a professional chef and are equivalent to a one star Michelin restaurant. Peter and Celine are the hosts and provide whatever is needed with courtesy and care.|A trip down to the Rift which is a very short walk from the tents is an absolute must. The |rock formations, trees and fauna are very photogenic.

This was just the best! Fantastic location, Fantastic staff, Great accomodation! We've been to lots of places around the world and this was the most in tune with its environment that we've been to. Top marks!||I liked that they integrated their offerings with the local excursion operators and it felt that you were part of the local economy and not apart from it. The managers Peter and Celine, were really tremendous. They were exuberant and enthusiastic. They were perfect for the site and seemed to be 200% committed to ensuring that everything was perfect.

We’ve just spent 3 nights at Rangelands Outback Camp. It was spectacular. What an exceptional location on top of a jump up outside Winton. This affords stunning views and even better sunsets. John, the owner, has created a 6 star camp in a very remote location. The tents have absolutely everything you would expect in a top drawer resort but without the crowds. It truly is luxury glamping. Everything detail has been thought of from the hand selected wine list, to the furnishings, toiletries and little luxuries. Peter and Celine are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. And i must mention the food - beautifully presented meals that would be at home in any top restaurant around the world. And not to forget Colin who looked after all our arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble. I thoroughly recommend Rangelands if you want to experience Queensland’s remote outback without sacrificing one luxury.
