I had a great experience with the passport photo service today. The tall male shop assistant, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, was polite and professional. Thanks to his excellent skills, the photos turned out better than I expected. I truly appreciate the wonderful service!

I’ve been to Ted’s here a few times, and have always had good experiences. I went in today looking to buy a mic, and was assisted by Jogen. He was helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Definitely worth the effort to shop in store if you’re not sure.

Excellent service. Photographer Jogen is very helpful and patient. He guided my daughter to take passport photos in a professional manner, and provided us with additional advice on how to get passport photos accepted.

Came in today knowing very little about cameras and was served by Polly. They were so unbelievably helpful and patient with me and ultimately helped me find a camera that fit perfectly with what I was asking for. Left a very happy customer, the world needs more Polly’s 🙂

Terrible service by the Garden city Mt Gravatt store. If I get served by a sales assistant, it's usually brief, not helpful and very condescending as if they are superior. Have received outstanding service by one of the staff, but he said he was filling in from another store. Such a shame, I would buy more if they were generally helpful.

Pretty disappointed with the customer service in this store. I dropped in a disposable camera to be “developed” which in my head meant “print a copy” & I specified I would like a digital copy as well. I was told 3-4wks. I waited over 5wks & had gone in 3 times within that month after being told I’d receive a text when they had been done. On one of the occasions I was asked if I received my digital copies which I had & they said that they’d text me when it was ready. So I waited & received no correspondence. I went in yesterday 10/09, to ask about when I would be receiving them because I’d been waiting a while & he told me that it’s taking “a long time” took my name & went & looked on the back computer, he came over to me & said that he could print them in store if I was willing to wait, I couldn’t because I was strapped for time but he told me I could pick them up tomorrow. I went in today 11/09, to pick them up & wasn’t greeted until I walked up to the back computers, I was served by the guy who took my order & he rudely said to me that I “didn’t request for them to be printed & that it would incur an extra fee” he spoke to me in such a manner I felt like I was stupid. However, when I dropped the camera off, he didn’t ask me if I would want them printed as well as a digital copy. I feel like as an employee you should be asking the customer all the questions to ensure they are getting exactly what they want. Rather than placing blame on the customer 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've ordered Fuji x-t5 16-80 kit around early October and picked them up on 29th of November. Understand the wait due to its popularity however I discovered that one of my friend was able to walk into the store and purchase the body while I was still waiting for mine to be fulfilled. It seems like they prioritize selling to new customer over customers on waiting list.

Also though I don't mind lens come in separate box, I wasn’t expecting the staff handing me what seems to be a demo lens with white dust over them, and worse thing was, it came in a random brown box with some rubbish paper. On top of all that, there was black Friday sale and the kit was at a cheaper price, staff member was very reluctant to change my price to the current lower sale price, at the end he deleted my initial order and created a new one which took so much unnecessary time.

He had zero smile throughout the time. Very unpleasant experience.

I am deeply disappointed by my recent visit to Ted’s Cameras, where I experienced discriminatory behaviour firsthand. An Asian store representative deliberately bypassed us in line to prioritise serving customers of the same racial background. This clear display of bias is unacceptable and goes against the principles of fair and equal treatment that all customers deserve.
