Visit to Target Garden City in Upper Mt Gravatt was quite positive. Highly recommend the staff at the Laybys and Returns counter, as they were very helpful in locating an item that wasn’t on the shelf. The transaction was seamless and efficient. Overall, a great shopping experience!

Walked in in a great mood , pushing my trolly with $300 worth of groceries in it . Found the shirts i wanted and went to checkout . Full self serve . The person , busy on her phone , was less than impressed that i bothered her to ask for help as one of the shirts had no tag . Came over , pushed some buttons and walked away . While standing there trying to remove the coat hangers from the shirts , another girl . Asked me to move out of the way . I ripped the coat hangers out of the shirts and walked away . I was then stopped ten feet away buy the security woman at the exit and was asked for a reciept . Thats when i lost my shit . Horrible service . Wont be back .

At times, some great bargains are to be found.
This visit did make me realise just how expensive clothing has gotten over the past few years. Generally, one would assume Target would offer a range that competed both fashionably and of value. Many of the brands were no cheaper than the more notable labels. I did buy shoes on this visit and am happy with the quality overall.

I’ve got accused of stealing by a private investigator (?) hired by target and instead of looking through security, she automatically assumed I stole because I was examining an already opened bra packet. When I told her I didn’t do that while waiting in checkout for another item, she made the remark “maybe you’re wearing it”, making me extremely uncomfortable (I was also around 16 then and NOT in school uniform). I showed her where the opened bra packet was WITH the contents inside as I did not open it and instead of apologising for the rude assumption she just told me not to steal next time.

Coming to target use to be my favourite thing whenever I go shop at Garden City, but ever since this incident I haven’t stepped foot into target.

Click and collect green blankets and drove from Caboolture as they were the only place that had them in stock. They gave us silver/gray ones wrapped in black material so I didn’t see u til I got home. Went back and they said they would put the green ones on hold. Drove out again today and there the same silver gray ones. Just to be told. They were out of stock ! Super nice dude but really bad system

I really really don’t like the lights in the fitting rooms, frustrated that they are too dim and don’t allow an accurate view of what the clothes look like on. I tried so many clothes on but bought none because I just couldn’t see them properly in the change rooms.
