I have been going to True Metal Solutions for my steel and aluminum for the last 3 years. They have a great area where you can browse for off cuts to suit small jobs or they can cut steel lengths to the sizes that you need. I like that they are open on Saturday mornings too. Staff are helpful and are experienced with bespoke projects.

Have been here many times before as a keen home handyman. Went 11/11/2024 and purchased 20 x 20 mm rhs 1.5 m x 2 mmfor a simple basketball frame as the other was rubbish and rusted away. The metal was zinc and not a bad price. Asked for 8 45% cuts to be made which is simple as anything. Apparently not. Got charged for the cuts on top of the material which I was surprised at and not told ahead otherwise I could have done it on a metal mitre saw for nothing and the saw is very accurate. Well got it home and today jigged the frame together. The 45% were rubbish as though no mitre saw was used. The bottom of the cut and top of the cuts did not match up with 1/8 gap on the top and it was not 45%. I thought WTF. Rang them and they offered to drop some more off but I declined as I had started welding and bridging the gaps. I do not know who did this but not the salespersons.
Should have been a very easy weld job but was not at all. Simply not going back. Not the end of the world but I will go elsewhere at Narangba.

Always helpful. Excellent delivery service. Built a whole camper trailer with RHS, folded Stainless Steel sheets etc, all exactly to the right dimensions first time. If they didn't have the materials I needed, they ordered it in and called to say it had arrived.

Price on steel is reasonable, service is poor. Have had wrong steel supplied on occasion. Basecon Brendale is better, no cut fee as they have small lengths pre cut, home fabricator advice.
