We had The Phat Wag cater for the Noonga Cricket Day recently and boy, they did not disappoint!! Absolutely sensational feed - we had a juicy burger that was cooked to perfection, delicious loaded fries (the smokey brisket was amazing), the chips are the best you'll ever try - so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, as well as a delicious ice cream to top it off. Service was super friendly and very fast! What a great job you guys are doing - hope to see you back at Noonga and Roma area again soon! Can't recommend these guys enough!

Stopped by after shopping in Murgon. They had lots of great looking Wagyu. I brought the wagyu bacon which was absolutely fantastic, melts in your mouth. Also got a pizza which was by far the best. And the pies were very good as well. Can't wait to be back up this way again for more.

We just made our second stop to the Phat Wag this weekend and was not disappointed! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful! We walked out with a tomohawk steak, rolled roast, brisket and their new Wagyu pies. They are absolutely divine! Make sure you look out for their Phat Wag food van. Certainly worth the drive 😍

Called in to The Phat Wag on a trip to Murgon for our tractor repair, and saw the sign on the highway. We definitely made the right decision to call in and have a look at the butcher shop.
Met the owners and main butcher as we were looking for silverside . What a great customer experience! Friendly knowledgeable team, had a lovely conversation with the owners.. bought more than what we called in for but OMG we are currently eating wagyu pastrami .. that’s the best we have ever tasted.. we definitely will be back!
Can’t wait to taste our rump and silverside .

I called in today while working in Murgon. It was recommended by a local friend of mine and I was not disappointed. It is a true 'Paddock to Plate' story with the friendly owner proudly telling their story. The range of cuts including Shin roasts and Wagu bites differentiates it from what is available at an everyday butcher. This place is exceptional!!! Next time I am there I will be taking a large esky to load up for the trip back to Bundy.

Ohhhh wow, what a treat! We indulged in the rump, eye fillet, kebabs and the nibbles. SO happy to live to close to Phat Wag, where we can pick up the best beef EVER! And I’m from Tassie and thought I’d already tried the best- turns out I was wrong! Phat wag is like being in beefy heaven and all your worries melt away in place of the most perfect delicacy, lovingly paddocked to plated. I can’t wait to try every piece of meat they have there. Looking forward to their hamburger patties for breakfast this morning after a big night of beer, Johnny Walker and kareoke. Living our best life out here in the country! Thankyou Phat Wag, we are so happy to have you (Stay tuned for my review on their pastrami and their beef bacon!).

2/5/23 - special trip to pick up wagyu for campfire. All wagyu either fullblood or purebred, all cuts & mince/sausages such high quality. Wagyu bacon is a must. Nothing compares.
