Great place to eat and quality of food is surprisingly high for what is essentially a pub in a small rural town. I had the one lamb shank (option for two), which was cooked to perfection. Served with a good selection of veggies.
Not "fine dining' - order from bar and collect from kitchen counter when your buzzer goes off.
Typical aussie pub/sports bar - multiple TVs showing various channels.
Would defo recommend.

The food was disappointing. There was only one vegetarian option, which was pasta. The tomatoes were dry, they were served with tomato sauce but the combination with pesto on the side felt odd and unbalanced. The pesto was also overly oily. My boyfriend had a burger, which was very small and not filling at all.

There's a good range of food on the menu with something for everyone. We had steak sandos and a seafood basket.

For $22.50, you can't go wrong with the sando, with super fresh ingredients & a nice side of chips.

The seafood basket also hit the spot with some of the biggest scallops you're going to see.

All the usual beers on tap, with plenty of others in the fridge of you want something else.

There's plenty of room out, the front, inside, and out the back along with plenty of screens to watch sport and $1 pool (how long ago was it $1 at your local)

All up, a top pub with great food.

The food is awesome. The chips are the best I have had in years. Nice and crunchy and not overdone. Staff are really friendly and the place is nice and clean. A credit to all that work there and the people that own it. I will be back next time I visit.

Food was nice but portions were disappointing to say the least, I ordered the seafood basket and my daughter ordered the kids calamari. My entire seafood basket overall was smaller than the kids calamari, if I were to double it in size it would still be the smallest seafood basket I have ever seen.

Great place we've been here for 4 nights yes we met up with old friends we haven't seen for a while and yes it was wet and miserable. Did I mention it was quiet a great Sunday market place next door. Oh yeah right on the beach old amenities but clean and tidy. Oh a tavern across the road fish and chip shop pizza place good coffee shops. On the beach yeah maybe there are better places to stay but this one has an old school charm that my wife and I love ❤

Stopped by for lunch, had Battered fish burger and a chicken schnitzel. Both were pretty ok. The piece of fish on the burger was pretty small which was disappointing for $24. The girls behind the bar offered good service though, was quiet inside at lunch time so atmosphere was a bit flat but obviously it ramps up at peak times. Will stop by again sometime
