Our family stayed in the Kookaburra cottage at Cassawong Cottages in Jan 25. We really enjoyed our stay being a walk across the road to pristine Wongaling Beach and having a cooling swim in the Cottage pool after a humid excursion.
We would recommend Cassawong Cottages for its simplicity, serenity and surroundings of tropical nature.

I stayed at Cassawong Cottages in Lorikeet Villa at Mission Beach. The Tropical team, made my stay relaxing and comfortable, property was clean, air conditioning, ceiling fans in all rooms helping with the heat, also a pool in the premises. Beach was across the road, lots of wild life seen Woolworths, was handy for any needs. Tropical helped with anything extra required, also great communication with the team. I would recommend to family and friends, and I would stay there again myself when visiting family up that way. Thank you Tropical Team

The accommodation at Wongaling Beach was very clean, comfortable, great amenities and just what is needed for a relaxing holiday. The Christmas Tree was a lovely touch! Being able to have our old Beagle girl with us made it all perfect. And the beautiful Beach being a 2 minute walk away was wonderful.

Fantastic cottages that are extremely clean and well appointed. Extremely quiet and relaxing. Very dog friendly and secure. It was lovely to stay somewhere and not feel like you are under supervision. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Great location right on the beach. Clean and tidy with everything you need for a short or long stay. The coffee machine was an added bonus. We were able to do washing and cook our own meals.

Our third time at Cassowong Cottages and brilliant again. They are genuinely pet friendly and they are clean with all of the comforts necessary for a comfortable stay away from home.

Great place, very spacious and very clean. Everything was supplied over and beyond, including for kitchen supplies and even laundry detergent, also towels, including for the pool. The views are out of the world and for my unit no 2, the doors open to the lawn, and at the end of the lawn is the beach (3-5 meters away). As mentioned by others the spiral stairway, which takes you upstairs to the bedroom is narrow, however this was mentioned to me at booking time to ensure I was physically ok with it, so it was not a surprise. A nice 1.2km walk on the beach will also take you to the cafe / food bar of the Dunk Island Views Caravan park, or alternatively a short drive of 5-7 min will get you to many cafes and also a Woolworths. I highly recommend driving about 17min to get to the Bingle Bay Cafe, which is a favourite and is open all day and night.

We stayed at Cassawong cottages. Great location just across from the beach. The cottage has everything you need and is pet friendly which is great. So relaxing and quiet, we only stayed 2 nights but will definitely stay longer next time.
