We’ve been travelling aus for a year now and always looking for new experiences! We have little knowledge in fishing but that didn’t matter! Ryan (the owner, the legend) was more than happy to help and offer advice! We both left there catching a few fish each! You can buy or throw back what you catch, which is great! Can't rate barra down under highly enough, so friendly, great to catch and release heaps of barra, we took our kids there the weather was cold and rainy but still caught a heap of fish the owners couldn't be more helpful. Do your self a favour go have some fun catching Queensland's iconic fish.

Don't miss this top spot! Easy peasy access en route to Mission Beach guarantees the thrill of hooking a Barramundi under the expert tutelage of Ryan. While visiting we bought some red spangled emperor fillets which were utterly delicious.
