Bačka’s meats are a letdown. The excessive use of sodium nitrate (E250) ruins what should be authentic salt only cured meat flavor. The taste is artificial, and the quality is nowhere near traditional standards. It’s frustrating that this is the best option for many in QLD. If you care about the authenticity and health, look elsewhere—this isn’t it.

I went to this place with my husband looking for Easter ham. It wasn’t first time, but today I decided to write review.
The top quality of the products, tasty. Nice and clean.
The owner of the business showed us new machinery for mixing best quality sausages. Just amazing.
When you buy products from them you know what you eat.
Best of the best.

I am impressed! Such beautiful meats, so much more natural and authentic than the store bought variety. Ordering was easy, delivery was super prompt despite me ordering interstate. I love that the products can be stored without refrigeration. Thank you Bačka, will definitely be ordering again! ❤️

You will not find better wood smoked European meats anywhere in Australia. Backa uses traditional Balkan recipes and techniques to produce excellent quality Salami, prosciutto, cheese, hams, and sausages. They now also have traditional hand made burek.

My family have been buying the beef salami and for the last 3 we bought they were awful, dry, salty to the point that we had to throw them out!! At $18 a pop that’s over $50 thrown away!! Won’t be making that mistake again! Check your recipe.

I purchased the pepperoni sticks from a reseller where I live. WOW hands down the best I have EVER had. The flavour profiles and texture would beat any other on the market! And the products are made locally and naturally with care which is reflected in the quality. Can’t wait to try more! Well done guys it’s a credit to you all!
