Absolutely horrible stay, Spent a lot of money for 1 night. NO carparking was available and was abused and threatened at 1:30 am by a staff member Recebba at reception because I was uncomfortable about being told to park my car down the road and walk the 10 minutes to the resort with my belongings. Terrible rude and nasty service. I asked for a refund so I could go find so.ewhere to stay to which I was told NO refund and NO having my car on the premises

It is very irritating when one goes to Movie World during one's holiday with one's children and only TWO of the major rides are actually working, which means that the queues are incredibly long, which means that the day is pretty crappy. Not much value for money Village Roadshow - not much value at all!

Signed up for a 12 month pass when we went to a theme park 7 years ago. I wasn't notified when the 12 months was up and didn't realize it was a never ending subscription. $2500 later, Village Roadshow won't even offer a few passes as a gesture of good will for all the money I've effectively donated to them. Lesson learned to audit your credit card regularly and don't expect that a business like this will show any compassion even when it wouldn't cost them anything to do so. Zero ethics!

I had an unlimited pass to all of the village roadshow attractions and paid monthly for approximately 10yrs and never missed a payment of $27. Apparently I was sent an only one email that I never received informing me it is now $72 per month. Village Roadshow then proceeded to take out 2 payments to which I never ever agreed to and told me that they would not refund me as I was sent an email and to check your spam mail. I shouldn’t have to check my spam mail as it is spam. I feel with such a dramatic change in amounts I should have at least been contacted by phone or text message as it is more reliable. So anyone who has passes that are direct debit be careful and check your spam mail daily apparently. I haven’t even used my pass in over 5yrs lesson learned never use direct debit. I will never use these parks again and am extremely upset at how this was handled

Called the SeaWorld resort phone number - got someone from Village Roadshow as I wasn’t aware it was after-hours. The reason I was calling was because I booked a room at the resort through a third party and after reading their reviews I was worried I might’ve been scammed.
The guy I spoke to from Village Roadshow was incredibly rude, I don’t think I’ve ever had worse customer service. All of my questions were answered bluntly with ‘no I can’t do that’ ‘no I can’t help you’ etc.
Zero empathy despite my obvious anxiety surrounding my booking.

I ended up calling back to get his name to make a complaint due to just how rude he was, however someone else answered and surprisingly she was happy to look at my booking and answer all of the enquiries that he apparently wasn’t able to look at. Although she was lovely I can’t bring myself to give more than one star due to my first experience.

Worst experience ever. Went to Movie world this morning, 4 of the 6 major attractions closed even though only 1 was mentioned at the entrance. Came to Seaworld in the afternoon just to ride the leviathan. 1 hour in the queue and the ride breaks down. This is supposed to be a brand new attraction and in the 5 days we have been staying at seaworld resort it has shut down at least 4 times. Can't believe Village roadshow claim to be a theme park company when their main attractions are consistently closed during January school holidays peak season. Pathetic

Still waiting for my refund/reactivation of our 6 ANNUAL tickets that we only activated for 3months before mandates in Dec 2021.

DEC 2022, still no care to reply and let me know the status after countless emails and calls to them.
Now I get ZERO replies to my emails in the last 5 months. 😫
I just want my 6 Annual tickets refunded or reactivated. Stop being crooks about it. 🤮 We moved here for the theme parks and this being our first annual passes we we're excited but 🤬 this experience, it's been stressful and exhausting and so not worth the money you spend for the tickets as well as instores.

I'm struggling to understand the virtual queue. It's quite silly because you keep refreshing to reserve a seat but it's always full. My husband and I ended up just lining up for the 90+ wait in the line up. As we know it is school holidays, very busy but very frustrating. But we had a great day and enjoyed it a 2nd time
