As a business owner and local, I am a regular customer of Woodgate Aus Post. I have always found Amy, Matt and their staff to be consistently friendly and helpful in their service. Their shop is beautiful with a great selection of locally sourced products. I'm surprised by the negative reviews, as they are a wonderful local business.

Extremely rude everytime going to pick up mail, refuses to give mail even though I go in weekly and once forgot my id, swore in front of my 11 year old son to another customer. Super bad customer service everytime going in to collect mail by the female attendant. The female attendant each time going to the post office is extremely stand offish that I drive into bundy to post my mail so I don’t have to deal with her and I would rather not deal with her collecting my mail but unfortunately no other way in Woodgate to do so.

I went to pick up a parcel today, given authority to do so via the Australian Post app. The lady that served me was extremely rude, wouldn’t scan the QR code that comes from the authority message as she kept saying and talking over the top of me “that text message doesn’t give authority for someone else to pick up the parcel”, when I’ve had no issue previously with delegated authority via the Aus Post app! She then told me that I needed the PO Box key (it was not addressed to a PO Box), that having the key is recognised as having authority, but not a text message from the Aus Post app with a QR code…

Customer service was zero and I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life.

In the end she did give me the parcel (contraindicative of what she was saying moments earlier) “I’ll just do it this once”.

Please support your staff to receive further education with the progression of technology and delegating authority with the actual Aus Post App! I hope other people don’t have the same experience as I unfortunately have experienced today. 🙁

I have found the owners to be very obliging and helpful. They are constrained by inflexible procedures imposed by Australia Post. Unfortunately some customers refuse to listen to a reasonable explanation .
The owners may not be the most out-going people in Woodgate, but they are definitely not rude.

Rude is an understatement! I prefer to pay for a P.O box in bundaberg and drive a 2hr round trip to get my mail, its worth it. I dont have to deal with those weirdos anymore. 😊
