Woody Point Memorial Hall - what can I say about it? It's a challenging venue to review. It has four walls, windows, and doors - the basics you'd expect from a functional hall. If you need a place to host a meeting or gathering, you can rent out this space.

During my visit, I looked around for a restroom facility. I couldn't locate one, but I can't say for certain whether bathrooms were available or not since I didn't want to seem too inquisitive. We were there to vote for our local council elections.

The lack of air conditioning is worth noting, especially given Queensland's notorious heat and humidity. On sweltering days, the indoor atmosphere could quickly become quite uncomfortable without any climate control system.

Overall, I'd give the Woody Point Memorial Hall a decent 3-star rating. It's a basic, no-frills venue that can serve its intended purpose of providing a rental space for events and meetings. Just be prepared to work up a sweat if you're there during the warmer months

Lovely hall. Available for hire! I watched my niece and choir perform at this venue today for free! They are raising awareness for the Barbara May Foundation. The Foundation supports safe birth and maternal care in Africa. Please donate, if you are able.

Woody Point Memorial Hall is over one hundred years old and is listed as a heritage building. At one point it was known as the Memorial School of Arts and involved in adult education.

Currently it is used for such private functions as weddings, concerts and various meetings, as well as such public events as the Anzac Day service.

Over the years features have been added or modernised both inside and out.

Outdoors there is a ramp for people who might have difficulty climbing stairs.

Indoors there’s a stage used for plays, choirs, or orchestras.

On one wall hangs an honour board listing the names of more than ninety servicemen and war workers enlisted in World War 1. This was a huge percentage of those involved in the war effort considering Redcliffe’s small population.

The hall is beautifully situated on the corner of Hornibrook Esplanade and Oxley Avenue with sea scenes on one side and a major road running through a number of Redcliffe suburbs on the other.
