Hi Monique,
Just trying to get your attention as I have been struggling to get any response to my emails or text messages. I know you had been sick but now that you are back and were going to send the photos and arrange freight booking, I have been constantly chasing to no avail. I'd appreciate a response and happy to update my review. You said the mattress is ready, so unable to understand what's taking so long now. I understand running a business ain't easy but the customer who has paid in full deserves to know what's going on.

Picked up my second mattress from Made to Measure today. Once again it was a very easy process from beginning to end. Monique was great to deal with and mattress was ready within 4 weeks. Even considering getting one for the house they are so comfortable.

We are return customers of Monique and Made to Measure Mattresses. Having changed our caravan a few times, we also changed the mattresses every time, for the comfort of the Made To Measure Mattress. They are a fantastic mattress to sleep on and we would not hesitate to recommend this product. This is a small family run business, so we understood the difficulty of working a business, family commitments and communicating. Emails and text messages are vital in small business. Monique has always been diligent in her correspondence with us and it has been very much appreciated. Our order was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances but still arrived as ordered, in an acceptable time frame. Thanks for all the nights of sleeping comfortably, Monique. Congratulations on making a consistently great mattress.

What a fantastic business, we had only a week to get our caravan bed organised & Monique & her team got it done.
They opened up their business on a Sunday, mind you, just to allow us to come in & pickup our mattress as we had to head. I would highly recommend this business. The friendly service from the phone to meeting them in person. Monique knew exactly what type of mattress we required & omg. I had the best sleep since leaving Darwin in Dec 2023. Thank you for your advise & I love this mattress.. Do yourself a favour & get your mattress made by these guys. Well worth the money & advise given, they know their stuff.

This is an edit to my first review (below). Within 10 minutes of posting my review I was contacted by Monique to say my mattress was about to be collected by a courier and shipped to my home address. The mattress has arrived today and is exactly what I had ordered. It’s comfortable, well made, and I think, good value for the money I paid. It’s just a shame that a business capable of producing good quality products treats its customers so poorly. Yes, I now have the mattress I paid for and am happy with the quality. But I still have no receipts (and presumably no warranty) and had to endure weeks of stress, culminating with a formal complaint being lodged with the Office of Fair Trading, and a bad Google review. I’ve changed my rating to reflect the quality of the mattress, but would I go back to Made to Measure Mattresses in the future? No, it’s not worth the stress.

If you're thinking about a new mattress for your motorhome/caravan etc, be very careful. This company took my money and promised that my mattress would be delivered within three weeks. That was over two months ago and I still have no mattress, no receipt for the money I've paid, and no prospect of a refund. It's almost impossible to make contact with them and if I do get an SMS response, it's one excuse after another. I could cope with a delay if they'd just called, apologised and given me an honest estimate of when I could expect to receive what I've paid for. Instead I've been mislead from the start and then completely ignored. My advice: find someone else to make your mattress for you.

I have removed this review voluntarily pending a full refund or delivery of a Mattress and Topper that was ordered and paid for over 12 months ago.

Buyer beware… we purchased 4 mattresses from this company and paid for them in full. (Big mistake) Once the order and payment took place the communication became near non existence.. time after time a deliver date would be promised and not kept. Lots of excuses but still no mattresses. This meant we had to keep changing our plans and in doing so costing us money… in the end I was so frustrated I asked to cancel the order and to get a refund.. I was told they didn’t have the money and would have to pay me back in installments!!! Funny enough once I asked for the refund the mattresses were suddenly ready Although even then the still delivered a day later than promised 2 days earlier… the mattresses themselves are ok but the had dirty marks on them that could see before even unwrapping them.. we won’t be using this company again..

Funny how you respond within an hour of me posting a review. But when we were chasing the mattresses you couldn’t return a phone call or email.

Yes it was 4 mattresses. The king bed is made of 2. The rest of my review is accurate. Your response is full of incorrect information. They were delivered on the 30th January and dirty! I was present for the phone call and you kept changing your story on that one call and he wasn’t rude. You got personal but blaming family issues for your delay. (Not very professional) You definitely didn’t keep anyone informed and the communication was almost non existent. Until I asked to cancel the order! And not even an apology for the appalling services provided….

Just wanted to say thank you for our beautiful mattress you made for our caravan, which we picked up in June 2023. We've just done our 5-month trip through Tasmania, and the mattress never let us down with comfort and support after a day's walking through the rainforests. You made the mattress for our camper trailer back around 2012, which we loved, and we absolutely love our new caravan mattress. Will recommend it to everyone who asks
