We visited Tom’s Confectionery Warehouse in Melbourne while on holiday to pick up some treats for the kids back home in New Zealand. The atmosphere was amazing, truly a kid’s dream. Even as an adult, I was impressed by how well the store is set up and the huge variety of confectionery. Everything we got was great and there were so many options to choose from.

One staff member seemed a little standoffish, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. This place is a must-visit if you’re in Melbourne and love sweets. Four stars!

WOW! Super impressed with our first experience here. The widest selection of sweets, snacks and drinks. I was truly overwhelmed with all the different options. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff and the coolest displays/characters. Will definitely be back again when the human claw machine and chocolate fountain are installed. Well worth our time and money - the experience was magical! ✨️

Tom’s Confectionery Warehouse isn’t just a store - it’s a spectacle, a cathedral of cavities where Brisbane’s sweet-toothed faithful come to worship. An Aladdin’s cave overflowing with everything from humble Cadbury Dairy Milk bars to Japan’s Meiji Chocorooms to boxes of Hostess Twinkies- those indestructible yellow torpedoes of cream and regret. The pick-n-mix section alone could fuel an entire carnival, and the warehouse selection stretches far beyond sweets: imported cereals, jars of Mexican salsa, potato chips in exotic flavors, and tubs of marshmallow fluff - a gooey spread Americans famously pair with peanut butter to make the fluffernutter sandwich, a culinary choice that does a lot to explain the country’s national health crisis.

The warehouse atmosphere is as playful as the products. A towering animatronic Transformer dominates one corner, while a robotic magic tree waves you off at the exit, a quirky send-off after completing a pilgrimage through sugar and salt.

Prices reflect the novelty and uniqueness of what’s on offer: $14.90 for 10 Bertie Beetles, a nostalgic treat once confined to showbags; $11.90 for a 200-gram bag of Herr’s Buffalo Blue Cheese curls, a salty delight rarely found outside the U.S.; and $9.90 for Popin' Cookin' Tanoshii, a Japanese DIY candy kit that’s as much about the process as the end result. But this isn’t about bargains - it’s about surrendering to nostalgia, curiosity, and unapologetic indulgence. Purchased prepacked lolly bags for our courtesy car "with compliments" gift and they're great. I don't have to organise this to be done by a staff member any longer I'll just be purchasing them ready made up. It was lovely to also receive a hand written note from the Team thanking me for my purchase. It's the little things in life isn't it 🙂

Fun for kids of all ages, big and small 😉 So many choices and variety that you wouldn’t find in normal lolly shops.
You can buy singularly by weight or all the way up to bulk packs.
Large warehouse space that seems to just go on and on.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting a fantastic confectionery warehouse for a themed surprise birthday party. Our experience was not only unique but also met all our specific needs, which were not available in local stores.

Upon arrival, we were delighted to find that the street signage and outside lighting made it easy to locate the warehouse. The well-lit store allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the browsing experience, bringing out the inner child in us as we laughed and had fun exploring the aisles and sections. The lighting was well-maintained throughout, allowing us to easily view prices, sizes, and ingredients.

For those seeking specific items, we recommend reaching out to the warehouse directly through a phone call if the website doesn't provide the desired information. We personally had a pleasant conversation with a helpful gentleman who not only assisted us but also provided clear directions.

One of the highlights of this confectionery warehouse is the wide range of products available, including internationally sourced items that are not found in local stores. It's important to note that, like other specialty confectionery stores, prices may be higher. However, with a bit of caution, it is possible to make a satisfying purchase without breaking the bank.

The warm and friendly welcome we received set the tone for our leisurely browsing experience. We were able to take our time and thoroughly enjoy exploring the offerings. The large amount of purchase we made for our party felt reasonably priced, and we left the warehouse excited for the upcoming celebration.

While this warehouse may not be a regular stop for everyday shopping, considering its specialty and focus on special occasions, we definitely plan to return in the future. The availability of ample free onsite parking and the consistently polite and friendly customer service further enhanced our visit.

Opinions may vary, but in our experience, this confectionery warehouse exceeded our expectations in terms of fun, variety, and overall satisfaction. It truly checked all the boxes and made our visit an awesome and memorable one.

My first time here on a whim didn’t disappoint. Plenty of car parking directly in front. The most amazing array of sweet treats from all around the world means you are spoiled for choice. The pick n mix would delight any one of any age! Had a seamless interaction with the young lady at the checkout and we shared our love of Billson’s Cordial which I was stoked to discover in stock here. Now I know how many sweet treats are stocked here, I will be back. Thanks!

Great big selection of all different type of lollies and confectionary. Love the range and always manage to find something interesting or new.
New owners have done a good job and the place looks great inside.
