I was walking back from dropping my car off when I noticed this cool little coffee place, just on the corner of Deshon and Atherton Street. Quite minimalistic on the outside, I didn't expect to be so blown away with the colourful and character filled interior that awaited me. I'd arrived on day one!

The interior is open and cool, and there's a good amount of space for those busy periods. Some chairs inside to sit down if you want to have your drink there or some more outside(maybe when it's a bit warmer!)

There is an assortment of pastries on show and they offer a variety of beans which I pleasantly found are roasted on site. Can't get fresher than that! You can see the coffee roaster in the back of the shop.

The owner and staff were very friendly and the coffee was very nice, definitely a cooler day and the cappuccino was perfect!

I will definitely go out of my way to come back for another coffee and stock up on some fresh locally roasted beans!

This was some of the finest coffee we've had in Brisbane. A beautiful space, seating outside to enjoy the morning sun, roasting on-site, as well as serving beautiful pastries and tea. We've found our new local!

Tried it for the first time and will be coming back again. They roast their beans in house so it’s always fresh. They have a few unique blends. Coffee was delicious and staff were friendly.

This is one of the first google reviews i have ever taken the time to write, because this was an amazing experience on every level.

The shop front was closed when I arrived however a lovely gentleman met me round the back and welcomed me in.

I wanted to buy beans for my home machine, so he said sit down, I will make you a coffee and see what you think.

Hands down best coffee I have ever had and I am 50 ish lol.

The gentleman who had greeted me was actually the owner and roasts all the beans himself.

He sat down with me, And we had a great discussion, around his beans and the blends he created.

This was the smoothest coffee I have ever tasted, it was an experience.

If you run out of coffee get on line and order it to be deliver or arrange to collect in woolloongabba.

I can promise you that this coffee is worth changing coffee suppliers for.

If you are a coffee shop, get on this train, because this will have your customers coming back for more.

Was so grateful to meet you both today, for your time, for making me a coffee and letting me taste test. For welcoming me and sitting down and sharing your passion.

Coffee Jo has a great vibe and stands out in its coffee offering amongst a very coffee dominated scene.
Ordered a cappuccino on their house blend and will definitely be back to try their others. They bake all goodies on site including sweets and savoury pies. I'll be back to try their banana bread which looked delicious. Their Italian gf biscuit was a winner.

After moving up from Melbourne in 2020 - a place in which the coffee scene is arguably the best in the country, Coffee Jo’s is roasting the best drop I’ve ever had!

Took 20 minutes to make one cup of takeaway long black. People after me who ordered coffees with steamed milk got served first. How long does it take to pour hot water in a cup of espresso?
