There was a female staff member wearing a headscarf, who was extremely rude. I wonder if the supermarket’s employee screening standards are too lenient. She demanded to check customers’ bags without any reason. Employees like that should be dealt with properly.

Employees like her, with nothing but bitterness on their face, completely lacking a smile or any enthusiasm, shouldn’t be allowed at the front counter. Seeing her is just downright unpleasant and ruins the entire atmosphere.

Coles has significantly improved its presentation since it’s renovations and conversion to a Coles local. It’s not the largest Coles, so sometimes missing some stock I want, but that’s pretty rare. I know many are upset about the deli and fresh seafood being taken away, but there’s been some lovely local additions too.

The guy behind the checkout deliberately kept my cat biscuits which I didn't notice missing until I was on the bus going home already so I had to get off and walk back to Coles at the Gabba to get what I'd already paid for...I don't know what he must've been thinking.... maybe trying to save Coles some money or something?! From now on I'll pack my own groceries.

Bad customer service no price tags for ice creams in the cold cabin !!!! When questioned ..they answered ”I need to scan if you don’t want it just return back to cabin”

Black Labelled "Coles Local" is a little more fancy than your regular Coles.

It has a much larger fresh food section, ready made meals, fresh juice and coffee, speciality items and baked goods.

No counter deli, but a good range of fresh prepacked cold meats.

Loads of parking underneath. A destination supermarket.

Smallish Coles. No WiFi which is a bummer. Good selection of merchandise but I think the fruit and veggie section should have more of a variety! They have a good dried fruit and nuts section.
