Been a loyal customer of Supercheap Auto Wynnum West for many years. Have a trade account as well. Service my own vehicles and family vehicles as well. I rolled up after Christmas new year with a list of what I wanted to buy and thought I will drop off the old oil from all the services. Braydon the staff member comes out with attitude and tells me I can only drop off a portion of the old oil. I said it’s all been bought here and you can check it but he said no come back next week. LIKE REALLY.. you would upset a loyal customer over this .. ok. Well the list of gear I needed will now be purchased elsewhere and future purchases will not happen. Unsubscribe me as well. Plenty of other auto shops that want business.

I come here twice a week, spent probably 6-7k in 2 years, Roman on the parts counter is great as is the older woman and Eli on the front counter. This week I bought a new car, the alternator died. Roman priced me one up and I was going to afterpay it, but in the mean time I bought a $199 battery, a $199 Projecta jumper pack and a $100 battery charger while all the auto electrical shops are shut for Christmas.

You think it would be courtesy to help a near-amputee (I have a 360mm titanium rod for a Femur and didn't have my cane) by spending 5 minutes jump starting my car after being such a loyal customer.

I even offered to pay. Cathy is such an incompetent manager she just decided it's not store policy, even though they did it for my gf of 4 years a month ago in our last car. When I enquired how come they fit parts or plug and Autel into your cars OBDII port, change globes, I was told it's not store policy. I told her I understand that but I'm disabled and in duress could you do it as a favour as I didn't have my phone on me and being a carer I have little money and I'm socially isolated.

So I just walked 3km home in 33degree heat with no cane (I need one to walk more then 50m) carrying my parts while able bodied Cathy checked Facebook from her office in a chair. When I called to give her a chance to redeem my custom at her store she didn't even so much as apologize.

Don't get ripped off, don't go to a faceless company that doesn't care. I would happily of bought the $600 alternator on Afterpay and fitted it myself instead I'll be taking my business to Bursons, paying half that and being treated more humanely.

Fyi the reason I would of paid for the alternator at $600 is I felt I was always looked after there which turned out to be false, and I need my vehicle to be reliable as my partner Is 38 weeks pregnant with cancer. I will be advising everyone I know personally to boycott this store and asking for an unfavourable report on Cathy from Super Retail Group.

What disappointed me most is she wouldn't even come out of her office despite me being so courteous and polite, and made poor Eli (onya bro, my little boy is going to be Eli) be her pattsy. If Roman or Eli want a better paying job I suggest jumping ship to truck parts, 100k a year and it's no harder then car parts.

All the best to everyone at the store except Cathy, I hope she is transferred soon and I can return to the store and all the other, lovely staff members. I didn't even get an apology from Cathy. Poor management I'm a former manager myself, no accountability, no empathy, and making good hard working staff do the dirty work you don't want to do.

I question her position at that store and her competency.

"Promote Cathy" I came in the store and ask to get some help for my wipers.
A tiny bit of plastic broke on it, Cathy got a box full of spare parts and replaced the broken bit No Charge!
"How much do I owe you" I asked.
"Nothing, have a great day" she replied with a smile.

Hopeless service Cassie was rude and told me no one was available to help me in car seat section when there were 3 guy staff members in the store chatting and laughing with zero customers in the store she could of called out to help me but didn’t . Seriously if asking for help in a store is too much you seriously have the wrong staff running your business!
