This review is for the everyday customer not electricians. I gave 2 stars because of the initial service, but the last encounter, has left me very disappointed.

I am not an electrician, so I was hesitant to walk in. But, my initial contact was very positive and Lance was very helpful. Lance and Dougal helped me with all my requirements during more visits to the store, so I had what I needed for the electrician to install during the various stages of my reno.
But, when the electrician pointed out the glass double GPO (4 plugs) would be almost impossible to install in the brick wall, I needed to exchange 2 double glass GPOs for 4 single.

So here's the BAD REVIEW
At no point during my 6+ visits to the store, where I spent well over $1,000, did anyone tell me that if you open the plastic bag, you can't return them or exchange them.

SO BE WARNED - There is no signage up in the store that stats it, so I was completely stunned 😲. Also the attitude and facial expression of the salesman was just, 'leave lady there's nothing I can do' (not Dougal, Store Manager - other end of the counter or Lance).
He did offer me another solution, at cost price, that was going to cost me another $160 🤔

Very good service when I went to haymans.

My father-in-law is an electrician and he was up for a holiday from Canberra and agreed to do some electrical work for me.

The guys at haymans gave very good customer service in my father in-laws opinion and the prices were more than fair from what he understands the prices in the industry are currently.
