I received a safety recall letter from Isuzu Ute Australia, regarding an OEM controller, possible loss of power when the accelerator is pressed down, life or death kinda stuff. It had been an adventure to try and get my first big service completed, that I had to get a mobile mechanic to do it. So I was pretty wrapped when I was able to get in to have my shiny new MUX in for a safety recall, that I decided to have a tow bar installed at the same time.

What can I say, I was exceedingly apprehensive to take my newest favourite toy to anywhere linked to Blue Ribbon Honda and Mitsubishi, as I’ve had and heard horror stories. But Allan at Blue Ribbon Isuzu laid any fears I had to rest when he seemed to orchestrate the swift service of a heavily booked front office.
Allan was genuine, knowledgeable, helpful and seemed to be the go to guy for any queries (this was what I witnessed when I entered in the morning and afternoon).
I believe I will be returning for future services and upgrades to my existing MUX.

My husband recently purchased the all new 2024 Isuzu DMax XTerrain from John at Blue Ribbon Isuzu. John was fantastic from start to finish. He made the entire purchase to handover process flow seamlessly and even gave us a follow up call a few days later to check in with my husband. We highly recommend seeing John at Blue Ribbon Isuzu.

I would not recommend this car yard to anyone wanting to purchase a car or get it serviced. Their staff need to learn how to speak to their customers they are rude and very arrogant. If I was you I would take your money else where.

Absolutely terrible experience. DO NOT buy from here or have your car serviced. Jason the salesman is the worst salesman we have ever dealt with. He needs lessons in communication and speaking to someone with respect.
Now onto the warranty claim. We bought a second hand dmax and asked Jason whether injector compensation values were checked to which he said yes (he obviously had no idea what they were). After purchasing the vehicle, we had the ute checked by a diesel mechanic and found that 2 injectors were out of limits (2.6-2.4). After talking to multiple reputable diesel workshops, 1.8 is the MAX these values should be at before needing replacement. Took the car into the dealership as it is under warranty and said that these values are still within limits and turned me away even after having these reputable workshops tell the service manager that these limits are dangerous for the engine. The whole dealership is arrogant, not helpful and misinformed. STAY CLEAR

While driving near Ipswich, a warning light appeared on my Isuzu D-Max. I dropped into Blue Ribbon Isuzu hoping to have it checked. I arrived around 8:30, but was told no technician would be available until 10:30. At 11:20, I was informed that it could take all day to diagnose and would cost $176. This was disappointing, especially for what seemed like a quick job, as I had a long drive ahead. I was left feeling that there was a lack of genuine care or effort to assist with the issue.
I ended up going to a local mechanic who diagnosed the issue for free (in 5 mins) and sent me on my way. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this Isuzu dealership.

Poor service, 1200 for a capped service. What a joke. This place has your car for 10 hours and only inspects items dosnt actually service anything. Then a week later things start needing replacing and refilling and they make you pay hundreds. Not sure whats actually been replaced or not, cant trust they have done the work.

Brought my 2022 Isuzu Dmax into the service centre yesterday for its 15000km service.

Straight off the bat I was very impressed with how I was greeted, Alan was very polite and welcoming and the waiting room was very neat and tidy with coffee and tea available.

When I picked my car up Alan gave me a detailed report which outlined my driving habits and where I can improve. He also comprehensively went through the servicing in detail and answered all my questions about the car also offering up some really helpful advice, not once did I feel rushed or inconvenienced.

Very impressed with the whole experience, I'll definitely be bringing my car back for my other services.

poor, Had a new Isuzu mux need its tyre changed cause the worn bad. After a long time of waiting for tyres to come in. said car would be ready at 10am to pick up wasn't ready. Turned up at 11 still no tyres on then said had to go up road for wheel alignment, and left my wife and twin 18months old outside in the heat cause the crying was annoying them
