Beautifull entertainment stop near sunshine coast. Close to Highway.
Good place specially for kids. No wait times on the weekdays, however it looks like its a very busy place on the weekends. I recommend the Boat ride but Train ride is not entertaining as it looks. Still a good ride for kids but again if you are just group of adults, train ride is not so entertaining. We also like the food in the cafe which closes around 2:30 pm.

On my very quick trip to Brisbane (another of my Spontaneous Trips To Anywhere) a friend took me to The Ginger Factory for lunch.
The selection was lovely, prices were reasonable and service was quick.
We then went for a walk around the venue which was pleasant and quite amazing considering the space.
There were shops, a nursery and a train ride around the property.
During lunch I nearly ended up with my own dragon, albeit an Australian Water Dragon. It happily stood in the eating area while multiple tourists photographed it!
Nice touch to the day

This venue is wheelchair friendly and the terrain is level and an easy walk even on the gravel paths.

And....if you love ginger.....this is a delight!

Dropped in on our way travelling to Gladstone. Very nice, lots of goodies to buy. Place is clean, airy, tropical and things for kids to do like the train ride. Plenty of souvenirs and ginger products. Nut factory is right across the road. Great spot to stop off and relax 😌

Visited mid-afternoon on a Saturday in school holidays - no waiting and great service 👍

We were really surprised that we hadn’t thought to stop at the Ginger Factory before - what a great place to visit ❤️

Plenty of parking with bays for RV’s, buses and Tesla Superchargers 👍

We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the central open courtyard. Misters and fans helped keep the area cool ❄️. There are plenty of activities for kids to enjoy and lots of treats to buy

The facilities were lovely and clean, staff were friendly & helpful - we’re really impressed with our visit 🏆

This great venue is a comfortable place to stop and refresh when travelling on the Bruce Highway - about an hour & 1/2 north of Brisbane. Much more pleasant than roadside truck stops ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had such a wonderful time at the Ginger Factory! It’s the perfect place for a family outing with so much to see and explore. The kids loved the train ride and the interactive tours, and we all enjoyed learning about ginger and its history. The grounds are beautiful, and there are so many little surprises around every corner. The experience was fun, educational, and relaxed, making it a place we’d definitely love to visit again!

Such as beautiful place to go for free. Kids will love The Ginger Factory. So much to see and do. Plants everywhere. So much wildlife, lizards, peacocks and butterfly's. So many little shops to visit, picked up some crystal ginger, moisturiser and a glass dragonfly. Just a lovely place to walk around. Everywhere was wheelchair accessible. If you have little kids I would recommend this establishment. Many great memories would be made here.

Fun place for all ages! Recommend the boat tour - hilarious and entertaining, full of singing and dancing puppets. Train ride around the plantation is cute. We had a ginger scone with our coffee, it’s a must try!
