Arriving at Bruce & Julie's late afternoon was like coming to an oasis. We were greeted with such warmth & a very welcome glass of bubbly & nibbles. Julie's garden is really so beautiful & the property is a real outback farm experience. We loved every minute of our three night stay.

Julie and Bruce have created something really special for visitors to Corynnia Station. We stayed in the VIP suite within the historic homestead which was a slice of heaven after some days on the road camping. The bed was luxurious and the rooms, including a 1930s sitting room, were beautifully decorated and full of tasteful touches reflecting Julie's obvious artistic flair. The gardens are just stunning, full of birds, sculptures, shady trees, a very welcome pool and a flock of very cute free-ranging silky hens. We ordered a dinner hamper which was absolutely delicious and generous (barbecued Murray Cod) which we ate under the stars in the courtyard outside the 'camp kitchen', Nighttime was particularly special with incredible, panoramic starry skies and a silence so deep you could bathe in it! We will definitely return to this Corynnia one day. Thanks Julie and Bruce for your warm hospitality and a memorable stay!

As you round the bend into the home paddock, Julie's garden draws you in. The dogs begin their welcoming yelps, the chooks and guinea fowl invite you into the oasis that is Corynnia Station. We follow the signs to Maxie's Retreat, our home for the next couple of days, past the tennis court, the swimming pool, and a number of sheds and outbuildings.||Maxie's corrugated (and extremely well insulated) iron structure, rests on a huge slab of polished concrete, boasts a deep verandah, with a fenced yard, a fire pit, BBQ, and uninterrupted views across the paddocks teaming with sheep. It is in stark contrast to the lush lawns and colourful garden of the Homestead but no less appealing or comfortable. Maxie's is stocked with all you need for a short or a long stay. Six bedrooms lead off from the living, dining and kitchen, serviced by two large bathrooms. Julie and Bruce have considered everything, comfortable beds, crisp linens, fluffy towels, aircon, and plenty of wood. ||We gratefully accept Julie's offer of providing dinner kits, that we collect from our gracious hostess just as the sun is setting, the paddocks ablaze. Fresh produce from the garden, homemade bread, delicious steaks and chops, plenty of great local wines. We spend the evening playing cricket on the airstrip out the front of Maxie's. The children love watching Bruce takeoff and land multiple times a day, out checking on the ewes as they are lambing. It is also cotton harvest time, so we mount the bikes provided, ride out to inspect the state-of-the-art shearing sheds, and then on to marvel at the hundreds of acres of brilliant white cotton ready for the gin. ||We swim, we play tennis, we walk, we talk, we read, we ride, we laugh, we make new friends, and we reconnect.||Thank you Julie and Bruce, we will see you again.

Very much enjoyed staying at Corynnia Station in July 2024. Great hospitality and interesting surrounds. A fun option if you are traveling Sydney to Broken Hill and want a special play to stay on the way !

We have just enjoyed a delightful two night stay at Corynnia. Julie and Bruce were great hosts. Bruce went out of his way to share his passion and knowledge of agriculture with us and answered our many questions. Julie provided fresh, simple yet delicious breakfasts and dinners. |We stayed in the Pink Palace, a spacious character -filled cottage, modern bathroom, comfortable bed and a gentle breeze wafting through the window. |Although there are options of places to visit nearby we chose to relax and recharge; reading under the peppercorn trees, taking a dip in pool, exploring the shearing shed & cotton fields, watching the sunset and gazing at the stunning, starry night sky. Thank you Corynnia!

We really enjoyed Corynnia- a very authentic Australian "farm stay". Our accommodations preserved some of the original homestead rooms but upgraded for comfort. The gardens were remarkable and very relaxing. The whole ambience was great. Our grey nomad hosts, Charles & Anne, were most hospitable and informative. The new ultramodern woodshed next to the old is certainly worth a visit. The only downsides were having to take the long way round from Griffith to access the all weather road rather than the shorter, dry access road from Carathool and , this time, no kangaroos or other marsupials came to visit despite the lush green grass around the Homestead. And, surprisingly, the pool was freezing despite it being 34° C on arrival. We will certainly be back

A very interesting and special stay. Wide open countryside with birds and roos (and sheep of course)*. A walk into the heart of the 'swamp' was a highlight as was the night-time camp fire. Very hospitable hosts.||*and a rare sighting of a rakali (Australian 'otter' or water-rat) in an irrigation canal.

This was our first experience in a farm stay and we were pleasantly surprised with the state of the accommodation. It was clean and comfortable, had a beautifully maintained garden with a large diversity of flowers and the pool was very nicely kept. Good breakfast including a variety of cereals (especially for my boys) and we also enjoyed the afternoon tea with cookies/banana bread. Great view of the sunset/sunrise just beside the facility.||Julia was a lovely host and shared lots of information about the things that we could do during our stay.
