I enrolled my 1-year-and-8-month-old son at this center. Before he started, I took him for a two-week stay-and-play session to help him get familiar with the new faces and environment. While the educators in his room seemed nice, they didn’t make any effort to engage with my son or involve him in activities to help him settle in.

Additionally, I noticed that the educators were not as attentive to the children as they should have been. At this age, children are still learning to share, which can lead to snatching or pushing when they play in groups for more than a few minutes. However, the educators were often preoccupied with tidying up and cleaning, which left the children unsupervised and, as a result, a child was getting hurt almost every day. I understand that it’s impossible to monitor every child every second, and minor accidents are bound to happen. However, proper supervision is crucial to prevent injuries. There were instances when I had to inform the educators that a child had been pushed and had fallen or bumped his head. For me, the safety and well-being of my child is a priority, and serious accidents can happen if children aren’t properly supervised.

The third issue is that the management seems indifferent to addressing concerns or taking action on complaints. I emailed the management to inform them that I would not be continuing with the enrollment and explained the reasons why. It has been two weeks, and I have not received any response acknowledging my concerns, promising to look into the matter, or even thanking me for my feedback. This leads me to believe that communication is not a priority at this center.

Sparrow Early Learning Yarrabilba is an exceptional childcare center that truly stands out. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members are incredibly caring, attentive, and skilled in their interactions with the children.

The facilities are well-maintained and designed with the children's best interests in mind. The educational programs they offer are stimulating and engaging, fostering both academic and social development. It's evident that the staff genuinely care about the children's growth and well-being.

I also appreciate the transparency and open communication between the center and parents. They keep us informed about our child's progress and activities, which gives us peace of mind.

Overall, Sparrow Early Learning Yarrabilba is a fantastic place for children to learn, grow, and have fun. I highly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their little ones.

Sparrow has been a very easy decision as our daughter embarked on her first daycare journey. The staff have been so kind, generous and nurturing as our rainbow baby has adjusted to daycare life. The effort put in by her teachers to establish a relationship have been second to none. The lengths they have gone to make her feel comfortable, accepted and settled hasn’t gone unnoticed. She is growing and learning so much and now loves going to Sparrow each week.

My son has been attending Sparrow for approx 18 months and absolutely loves his early childhood educators from the nursery and toddler room. He is very shy sometimes but they always make him feel comfortable and take care of his needs.

The staff are amazing, very friendly and welcoming but the centre is not reliable. The centre is only open to working families on a very regular basis due to staff "illness" and being understaffed. 7 times in the past 3 months this has happened. I know with covid staff are bound to get sick but it really is becoming a big joke and other parents have expressed their annoyance with this centre.

I'm at a loss for words describing the remarkable experience both my daughters have enjoyed at Sparrow. My elder daughter, now 7, and my younger one, about to turn 5 have been part of the Sparrow family since they were one year old.

The thought of my youngest daughter completing her final year fills me with a sense of nostalgia.

I am constantly amazed at the exceptional quality of educators at Sparrow. They're not just teachers, but mentors and carers, each one exceptional in their own way.
Over the years, we've seen some of these extraordinary educators embark on journeys to higher educational roles, which is a testament to the caliber of professionals you engage. Miss Tenille and Miss Ebi are prime examples of this.

The current team of educators continues to impress us with their genuine affection, unwavering dedication, and indomitable spirit. They consistently exceed expectations in their care for the children. I cannot praise enough the likes of Helena, Rachel, Kristy, Cheinne, and Matt, who have been absolutely outstanding.

Every exceptional team requires a leader who goes above and beyond, working tirelessly to ensure smooth operations. When we initially joined Sparrow, Carly-Rae was phenomenal, and her departure left us feeling disheartened. However, for the past year, we've been fortunate to have Allyce leading the way. Words fail to express just how remarkable she is and the outstanding job she has accomplished. Her team of educators reflects her incredible dedication, especially during the management transition period when Sparrow underwent significant changes. Without Allyce, I can confidently assert that the center wouldn't be as exceptional.

Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate that our search for a high-quality early learning centre ended at Sparrow. It was our first choice, and we've never had a single moment of doubt about our decision. I am profoundly grateful for the enriching and nurturing environment Sparrow has provided for my daughters.

That final pick up at the end of the year is definitely going to be a hard one.

Got contacted today about someone else's child. I took my children out months ago. No idea how they managed to have my details for another child.
