I deeply regret choosing Factory Pools to build my pool. From the start, there were major issues. The acid feeder was missing when the equipment was installed, which caused the pool chemicals to be completely unbalanced. We had to use excessive amounts of chemicals just to try and get the water right. When I raised my concerns, I was brushed off and told the pool needed 28 days to balance after handover.

Eventually, when the supplier came to inspect the issue, they discovered the acid feeder was missing. Then, once it was installed, it overdosed the pool, causing the pebble crete to start peeling off the walls. On top of that, the pool pump stopped working. I called and emailed Factory Pools multiple times, but Troy and Joel showed no interest in fixing the issues. After handover, they simply didn’t care.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. As a business owner myself, I am shocked at the complete lack of care from this company. If I could give zero stars, I would. Steer clear of Factory Pools!

For anyone who's considering installing a concrete pool we would like to share our experience and dealings with Factory Pool at Yandina.
From the initial pool quote, signing the contract to our pool build completion and hand over today, the whole experience has been hassle free.
Would highly recommend Factory Pools.

I've had a mixed experience with these guys, firstly very easy to deal with, pool for installed in a good time frame however when water went into it that's where the issues started, either they didn't fit big enough pump or it needed a valve by the pool for me to be able to use the vacuum. This was fixed eventually but after 6 months of not being able to clean to pool it was an effort to get it cleaned. Also the guy they got to add chemicals couldn't be arsed.

Poor communication, girls in office rude on phone. Had meeting for quote at 10am. No one showed up called office. Who said the guy doing quote was 2 min away waited for 30 min didn't show up.
Unprofessional and rude. Had 3 other pool quotes that day. Concept pools by far most professional.
When coming on site. He then didn't introduce himself. We continued to explain what we wanted he didn't provide any guidance. And started off with a very rude approach.

Highly recommended not engaging with factory pools.

As part of this project we shopped around for Pool builders, as we where on a budget we looked at price first, Factory pools came in thousands under the rest and we thought they must not be that good then so then we looked at customer reviews, Factory pools had lots of good reviews so we took the plunge. They where great from start to finish, they explained each stage so we really understood how the process would go and they put as at ease by happily answering all our questions. They do this everyday and we have done it just this one time and they gave us much needed advise. Each team of people we dealt with where fantastic, from the guys who dug the hole to the ladies in the accounts department and everyone in between. We would happily recommend them every time. Thanks everyone at Factory pools, great job and a pleasure dealing with you. Here`s a few pics from the begging to the end of our pool build.

We are looking at installing a pool and were hoping to use this local Yandina company.
Unfortunately after reading the reviews on here we will DEFINITELY NOT be contacting this company.

Paid deposit to have a pool installed in March, 5 months on the job hasn't even started.

They had certifiers engaged with permits acquired. They have given me multiple start dates of "the fortnight of..." but those dates came went with no communication as to when exactly.

I have had to call them constantly to find out what is going on. There is no communication from their end at all. I get the excuses (it's been raining, we hit rock, we lost a digger operator, the boss went away for a week etc. I have had multiple new start dates but 2 weeks ago I asked again for a date I was told "I really don't know".

It came to the point where I've told them if they can't give me a date after 2 weeks I'll get my deposit back and go elsewhere. As I expected 2 weeks came and went with no communication from their side, so I requested my deposit back. I got a third of it back and an incorrect breakdown of what has been spent, so I have no idea if the amount returned is what I'm owed.

No apologies, no attempt to come to any agreement, they just clearly didn't give a crap about doing the job.

Highly recommend not engaging this company.

We built our new home with the pool as part of the contract with the builder. We had a good idea of what we want, but the experienced team at Factory Pools helped us to fine tune our needs. The worst part of the whole process was having to wait until the very end of the built, to see if we had chosen wisely. The end product met all of expectation, and more. Our thanks to the whole Factory Pools team, we will be enjoying our pool for years to come.
