Lovely little place for a picnic with views of the river. Small jetty you can fish off. No toilets, tables, chairs. Very rocky shoreline. Access is via steps, no wheelchair access. Only about 4 parking spots. Has been used for weddings in the past, but due to Council trying to preserve the wall of the original homestead, the area can no longer be booked for large gatherings.

Nicely located spot, sheltered from S-SW-W-NW winds. Has green grassed banks, shady trees, beach area and small L-shaped jetty. Parking is limited close to reserve, so be mindful of possibly parking further up hill. Does have three green wheelie bins in the car park for rubbish disposal, but best to keep to a minimum or take your rubbish with you. It’s a clean spot. Is intimate, so be mindful of other people’s enjoyment. Hope I haven’t said to much to give this gem away... 😉

Beautiful place to sit in the shade and enjoy the view. There is no amenities here, only a little jetty.

Used to spend family Christmas down here in the late 90's and early 00's. It is a beautiful location that is adjacent to the river, lots of shade. The only issue is that the grounds have not been cared for very well recently and the vegetation is all becoming overgrown and under-watered. With a bit of TLc this place could be transformed to its former glory.

Incredible spot hidden away, great place to stop by at and enjoy the river . Just be wary of the parking close to the reserve as it is extremely limited.
