Best cooked breakfast I've had in years. Really nice change and cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef who brought the food out and took the time to have a chat, thanks Tim.

Best all day cooked breakfast in Australia. We went two mornings in a row on our holidays. I had the fried eggs and scrambled eggs big breakfast and struggled to finish it! We took our doggo the first morning and the waitress immediately offered him a bowl of water.
The second morning we sat in the outside/inside veranda area which was looking very festive and homey. We met one of the friendly owners Paul who was really kind and the renowned amazing cook, Tim who served us our Brekky both mornings. Huge compliments to his cooking and service with a smile. Great value, we will be back every time we visit Mount Barker!

Had a wonderful breakfast for one. Nothing like a bit of southern hospitality, beautiful staff, fantastic breakfast with little to no wait. Food and coffee was hot and flavourful. My new favourite breakfast spot.

A great little Cafe, recently opened on Sundays.
Local Artists paintings, item's on display and for sale in store.
Ample seating inside, friendly staff !
Even has a book corner, community book swap.
Great food, Hubby had a Rib eye steak, salad and chip's with Mushroom sauce.
I had Fresh made, Salt and pepper Squid, salad and sweet potato chip's.
So much on offer, Soup of the Day, Sweet treats such as home made cheesecake and slices.

Came here some time ago, but I still remember how good this place was! Amazing food and even more amazing service!!! I had their chicken fettuccine for lunch and....OMG YUM!!! Generous portions with lots of fresh Mt Barker chickens. And their Dirty Chai...WOW just is the best! Their Lamb Shank is also very delicious. I'm usually not a big fan of lamb but thought I'd give it a try and it really did just melted in my mouth. Will definitely be back again in my next trip.

Fantastic small restaurant. Good food, really tasty and not stupidly overpriced.

Had ribs with salad. Also full serve fish and chips, very very good.

Beers were cold, tasty. Great meal, will be back.

Eggs bene was awesome, added a rosti which I recommend. The service left a little to be desired, the cafe was quiet but some of the staff was a little standoffish. Ultimately good food, and coffee was okay, not great.
