Came here to meet friends and have a meal while travelling. Service was good and meals were great. I had the chicken parmi which was ‘pub’ size. Cooked great, made myself finish it cause it tasted good.

Ate here for dinner, not for hotel.

I ordered fish and chips. The fish was good but Everyone's chips came out cold and the chips were just regular mccains chips. Not exactly worth 30$. I had to order multiple tartar sauces just because each little bowl had about 2 squeezes of sauce. I needed 2 bowls just to cover one fillet. When I ordered more sauces each one took 5+ minutes. It's sauce. It doesn't take that long.

My sister ordered spring rolls but the outside pastry was a weird thick texture and not crunchy at all?

They also somehow forgot my grandma's order of the pork tacos. The tacos was only pork and coleslaw. Not even any sauce

Took the family out to dinner as I've just moved near by. Service was very poor. Maybe the staff was new to the job? Or had had a few too many before work. Shanks smelled and tasted Sour but other food was ok but not worth the price. The thing that will never allow me to return is after spending over $200. When meals arrived one person asked for some tomato sauce for their chips and was told that's an extra $2. Just pay at the bar. Yeah would of been nice to find a local spot.

The location is fine the service is fine even though they are dramatically under staffed, but there motel room are just not up to code, they belong in the 1970's and are in desperate need of updating. The bed in the single room was rock hard you may as well have been sleeping on the floor, the bathroom was and after thought as there is no chance of using the toilet for anything other than to take a leek as you would need the jaws of life to get out of it. As for the room itself there is in most cases no TV, no microwave and just all round they are no worth the value for the money you are paying. Also they are not anywhere near accessible for people with disability as the step into the room is just huge when you step down on in its a danger. The fact is they either need to update the rooms or get out of the motel room business altogether. I wouldn't have a dog stay here let alone a human, my view is stay somewhere else there are far better options in Mt Barker.

Not an enjoyable experience, pizza extremely greasy and slides of base, also found a hair in my food but management struggle to take any kind of Critism and quick to make excuses, and deflect and then blame the customer. Extremely bad customer service and would not waste my money here ever again. Also dog feces out the front of hotel in several spots and dirty and dog hair inside

Had to wait over an hour just to get a beer! The place was dead and I called over the barmaid twice, and she ignored me and walked off. There was a German Shepherd walking around the dinning room and in the bar. I ordered a parmi and found a long blonde hair in it! Absolutely disgusting.

Beer garden allows dogs outside which is great. Food is excellent value, $20 loaded fries or $25 for local steak which was tender.

Stayed in a double room number 1, the weekend of 14th, 15th February 2025.
Front door step to high, very dangerous.
No hand rails in bathroom or toilet.
No microwave or toaster.
No small table. One chair only.
No air-conditioning
No ceiling fan
No exhaust fans in shower or toilet room.
No safety fly screens on window at front . Have to leave door open for fresh air.
Salt and pepper shakers in utensil box were dried up in a hard ball, un useable. Cutlery missing.
Parking for guests at a premumium.
Hotel patrons allowed to park in back parking area, blocking guests. Most annoying.
Hotel patrons using back gate entry into or out of the beer garden. Noisy patrons late at night in beer garden and when leaving late at night through back gate disturbing guests who are staying in motel rooms. Yelling, blowing car horns and reving cars.
Defenetly not safe for any disabled person. No wheel chair or walker access.
Extreamily dangerous for anyone and certainly do not recommend at any price.
