The Home Automation Company has assisted me over several years to install a Fibaro Home Management System. The system has been been expanded over the years including with security cameras and NVR and most recently integrating the HVAC via Cool Automation’s products.

John and the team have always provided excellent technical advice and implemented a system which works really well. The work has been high quality and timely and John is always available for any follow up / maintenance requests.

I recently built a new home and engaged The Home Automation Co to install a home automation and security system.

From the initial consult to the final commissioning I have been happy with every stage.

From the beginning John took the time to really understand what I want the system to achieve. John presented different options and was happy to work with me to finalise a scope to meet my budget and needs. He provided a quote for the supply and install of a system at a very competitive price. This included the control system, security and surveillance, TV, data, HDMI and audio cabling.

Throughout the whole process John was professional and Friendly. He provided tips and advice along the way on how the system could be improved and where we could save money. He had no problem with taking on scope changes and was able to find solutions to any related issues/requests I had.

I can tell that John takes pride in what he does as it shows through the quality of his work which is at the highest level.

John Always turned up on time and is highly reliable, which is something you don't get with many contractors these days.

The Home Automation Company recently designed and installed an automated system covering all of our lights, a/c, blinds, towel racks etc. This included setting up scenarios and logic covering when all of the "things" went on and off and installing all of the controllers.

From beginning to end my experience was excellent. We live in an older apartment so the project was not straight forward. John and the team were able to not only identify all of the issues, but also provide workable solutions. They worked very well with the other contractors. And they always arrived when they said they would!

On recently undertaking a complete renovation of a very old unit we were introduced to The Home Automation Co. through our builder.
We met with John several times on site where he patiently walked and talked us through every option in every room. He made recommendations at every stage, was beyond patient with the delays in the build, our lack of knowledge and indecisiveness. He assisted with selection of hardware and his knowledge of the system and its potential was extremely reassuring. The quality of his workmanship is to be applauded and worth every cent. Having moved into the unit, we found a few small alterations were needed to be made and John was more than helpful, even assisting in an electrical install totally unrelated to the original scope of work.

Having just completed the build of our new home we could not be happier to provide this review of The Home Automation Company, (THAC).
Not sure where to begin to describe the professionalism, quality, honesty and most pleasurable interactions throughout our dealings and working with John.
We engaged THAC to provide us with a comprehensive home automation and electrical solution and from our first interactions John demonstrated himself as the consummate professional and knowledge expert.

I could provide paragraphs of examples of how John and THAC provided us with considered and quality of workmanship, deep knowledge of the subject area, honesty and professionalism in all area of our interactions however I fear there may not be enough space here to do so and to not bore the reader. In every aspect John was a man of his word, including the old-fashioned concept of coming to the site when he tells you he is going to be there.

It seemed to us that John and THAC’s approach was as if he was performing the work for his own home, nothing was compromised.

Where our knowledge or ideas were lacking in a particular area, John patiently explained our options and the respective pros and cons for different options and then implemented these without compromise.

Where we needed to make changes, as is typical of any new build, John again professionally worked with us to make the change in the most cost effective way without compromising the end solution and keeping the end solution and future proof the design.

Having engaged many electrical contractors in the past along with reviewing and considering many others leading into this project John and THAC are at a level and standard we have not previously experienced and we would wholeheartedly recommend them for any future work.
